This is correct. That's why a large portion of the population dislikes the furry community. They're people who identify strongly with a certain animal to the point where it becomes a part of how they define themselves. They're getting younger all the time to the point where it's not even legal for some of them to be on the associated forums. Youngest one I know of for sure that I came across was effing 13. Is that even old enough to like girls?

Edit: Not that I really have a problem with furries as people. It just bugs me that they have so many members who do idiotic things and are overly vocal about what boils down to a fetish, even to the point that other furries can't stand them. It also troubles me how young some of them are, because it indicates that at least a portion of them just want to belong to something and have the misfortune of latching onto something that's got more drama than Gaia and CAD combined. That kind of atmosphere CAN'T be healthy for a kid who's still trying to figure out who they are.
