Hey don't include Dissidia and Crisis Core in your list.

Dissidia is different enough to matter and Crisis Core was a decent game and a good prequel to FF7.

Crisis Core was good fanfiction, if that helps. It even had a Mary Sue.

Dissidia seems to be the same.

I played an English translation of Radical Dreamers: it always gave me a feeling of something ethereal glowing in the night as well as being haunting and having a sort of surreal feel to it. I found it very hard to play at normal speed as I kept back tracking everywhere and text took a long time to scroll completely.

I assume there have been a few threads about the game. As I'm hearing that Frog doesn't has his ye olde English, namings have been renamed and no one is freaking out/grabbing their pitch forks!

I guess it explains why Square ceased and desisted Chrono Resurrection.

Yes, it's a very interesting game to play. Especially the giant robot ending.

Despite some really weird story choices, the game was good and the story fun. It's not up to the legendary Square calibur that seems to be lost on them this decade (two or three games excluded), but it's definitely miles above Dirge and Children.

That's what I said: fanfiction.

Reading the wiki does make it seem stupid, but it works because of the presentation. You have to play it (or at least yootoob it) to get it.

Anyway, as far as the new ending goes the fight with Schalavos itself looks pretty cool, but the aftermath is bothersome. Magus just kind of gives up, and that's ridiculous. This is the guy who, when thrown across time, decided that no, fuck that shit, he was going to rip time a new one and kick Lavos' ass. And he would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for those meddling kids and their robot.

....I am so sorry for that.

Anyway, the point is that Magus wouldn't just give up like that.

Complaint shift from "This has no connection at all!" to "They're trying to connect it!" about CC. Apparently, there was a split in the fanbase now that involves this version not being canon.

I think I know why they stopped making new Chrono games. Each new game would cause another break in the fanbase. It's at 4 games now, one of which has been retconned and one of which is a remake with more things yet it's already this strong.
