Yes, Option B is advised, though it isn't always necessary. In the next post, or maybe a few posts further on in the fight, you'll fight some enemies that're closer to fodder than the considerable opponents like the Killbug MkII and Isabella. Those lesser enemies that haven't appeared yet can be hit, though not exactly killed, without needing me to confirm anything.

In the future, I'll indicate the enemy's rank just so you know how your battle posts should be.

I assumed so, like if the first assassin was capable of being killed I'm sure they would have been technically a fodder creature since they aren't so special as Isabella. Though thanks for clarification.

A quick tutorial on enemy rankings and how they affect combat. Ranks are indicated in the very first statement of each Enemy Data explanation. There's only three, and it should be blatantly obvious how each rank should be handled.

Easy Fodder: Like the Suckler enemies that dwell within the Gluttony. Easy Fodder-ranked enemies can be hurt, and killed, without confirmation from me.

Fodder: Like the Niflos Prides and Sloths. Fodder-ranked foes can be hurt, though not killed, without permission from me.

Boss: Like the Killbug MkII, Isabella, and Niflos Gluttony. Boss foes cannot be hurt or killed without confirmation from me and instead player characters must post attack intentions. Enemies of the Boss ranking will usually be successfully struck with many intentions, but do expect to take a considerable licking yourself (like Scott did. Ouch, baby, very ouch.)

Supreme Boss: The creme de la creme of enemies, like Ashley and Sophia (as if you didn't know you'd fight them one day). Supreme Boss ranked enemies cannot be hurt or killed without confirmation from me and instead player characters must post attack intentions. Supreme Bosses are like raid bosses in MMORPGs where you'll dish out lotsa damage while taking lotsa damage in return. Supreme Bosses have some space in the story between them, but they aren't as few in number as a hero would have hoped.

He'll be alright, there are always advantages to being the primary healer and undead when you have the unliving shit kicked out of you. He will be more keen to subterfuge now that he has been heavily beaten. No use wasting all his good potions on a bad tactic.

Public Name: Edrian
True Name: Kalverian Kehieleth
Age: First recorded sighting of him, or who was atleast believed to be him, has been dated back about five hundred years.
Weapon(s): None really, tends to use whatever is at hand or whatever he might have set up ahead of time. Usually carries a small dagger with him however.
Race: A "man" of many faces, physices and shapes, or as most would say, a doppleganger. Though he is not an average doppleganger, being more of a demon than a magical beast.

Battlefield Specialization
Edrian really dislikes to be in a straight up fight, because he really isn't the greatest of fighters (atleast not among legendaries.) As a doppleganger Edrian specializes in guile and deceit, using his powers of shape-changing to meld in or in more severe cases, get close to people he targets. If forced into a fight he relies on his shape-changing (which is unfortunately limited to humanoid forms) to gain advantages over his opponent or sometimes to avoid attacks, but when compared to a human he is swift and deadly, having a inhuman grace to his movements and seemingly having no trouble bending in normally impossible ways. And while not very strong physically he has quite a resistance to mundane weapons. Rarely if ever reveals his true form, which is in actuallity when he is at his strongest.

Abilities
Shadow-Shape
Due to being a doppleganger not native to this realm, Edrian possesses the power to change his own physical shape, while maintaining certain limits. For example, he cannot grow more than twice his normal size, that being 1.6 meters tall, and he cannot shrink or take a shape smaller than that of a childs. These changes respectively grants its bonuses and negatives as he will become a bigger target, but have a slightly larger mass if he grows to his maximum size, while he will become harder to hit (in general) if he grows to the size of a child, while he'd himself lose reach. While doing this he can take the general body structure and facial features of any humanoid race he's encountered, even being able to construct his own facials from all of those he has attained. And yes, this means he cannot change to the shape of a beast or the like, however he can emulate clothing perfectly and can hide small weapons inside his form inbetween shape-shifting.

Charismatic Aura
Despite his dark heritage, there is just something about Edrian that tends to make people friendly toward him even if he is a complete stranger to them. Though this could usually be due to how he tends to always take the form most fitting the occasion at hand, and there are several people all over the world he has contact with, each one knowing him by a different name and face. Though his habit of changing shapes has an effect on it, it is also due to his perfect acting and a strange aura which emanates from him when taking human (or other) forms. In short, people tend to react positively toward him, even those following the path of light cannot normally see through his act.

Native of the Dark
Though not directly a creature of the night, Edrian hails from a dark realm and as such the light of day interferes with some of his powers, especially while in his true form (though, you'd never see him in his true form while out in the sun, even less, see it at all unless he was forced to reveal it.). One of these abilities is regeneration, something which is normally able to heal even powerful magic which he is especially vulnerable to. While it still works as long as he is not in direct sunlight and not in his true form, both of these still hamper it greatly and drains him badly if he needs to rely on it. Another of the abilities accessable to Edrian while shrouded in the dark is a skill he has named 'shadow-shift', where he merges with a nearby shadow and in near lightning speed moves to another and re-emerges. He also possesses a few other, minor abilities, which is hampered in the sun, but these are the primary ones. To note, the reason he never uses his True Name in public or at all really, is due to his demonic heritage. As anyone who has studied demons would know, a demon's true name would grant them power over that demon, and though it is not as severe in Edrian's case due to not being a pure blood demon one could still summon him or otherwise hinder him if they knew it.

Dark Magic
Being a demonic creature, Edrian has easy access to the darker aspects of magic which he frequently uses to mask himself as a human-ish sorcerer, which is in actuallity what most believe him to be, though they obviously aren't too clear on his actual race, some think of him as an immortal. Though his magical skills are not to scoff at, they are nothing compared to that of a legandary wizard, especially not when he is masking his true self in the shape of another. The aspects of dark magic that Edrian focuses in is dark rituals, blood magic and shadow magic/necromancy.

Appearance
Regular form
The form that Edian regularily takes is that of what appears to be a handsome young man in his early twenties, with perfect light brown hair that hangs down his neck in a braided ponytail while he has a few loose strands that hang down infront of his face in a stylish manner, while his eyes are blue like those of saphires, looking nearly like if they are glowing. With fair pale skin and the features of a noble and the smile of a charlatan there is not much stopping Edrian from befriending most people in this form of his, unless they have a dislike for handsome men or nobles that is. Though he changes 'clothes' due to avoid suspicions, he tends to 'wear' finely crafted clothing beffiting that of a wealthy merchant or sometimes even those of a lower standing noble. What is to note however, that even if he is tossed to the ground or the like, his clothes never seem to get dirty or torn, infact if he was cut or otherwise harmed, the place where it happened would seem to 'disappear' as the edges around the wound would be filled with a dark substance that shortly closes it and repairs the 'clothing'.

True Form
As has been noted many times, Edrian is not a human or even from a regular species, rather being a member of a rare race of dopplegangers whom reside in a dark realm of demons known as Kez-ar Zha((Yes, I suck at naming stuff)), or simply the Dark if translated roughly to the human tongue. As such Edrian, or rather Kehieleth's true form is not of this world. Put bluntly, Edrian's true form is that of a concentration of shadows taking a humanoid form. Although he might not appear to be physicaly manifest in his true form, the body of Edrian is made up of large quantities of sentient dark magic which makes it just as physical as anything else. Though he would not reveal this form unless he really had to, Edrian is most powerful like this, being able to fully use his dark magic and other abilities which is connected to the dark, though his physical attributes barely change at all. In place of eyes there are a number of small glowing red dots which are spread out around Edrian's 'face' in this form, with most being concentrated to where the eyes of a normal humanoid tend to be.

Personality
Just like with his many faces and forms, Edrian has a multitude of different personalities he can easily shift and swap between at will, be it a friendly old man, to a less than proper young woman. However just like with his many forms he has one which he has more or less coupled with his regular disguise and as such is most used to. While employing this 'personality' Edrian is a generarilly friendly man who appears to be of noble blood due to his confident and strong willed look, following proper ettiquette even when dealing with peasants and the like and in general putting on a friendly smile and trying to get along with everyone. Though this is in actuallity far from his true personality, which he always keeps hidden when dealing with others.

In reality, Edrian is very arrogant, yet carefull, and a huge asshole. Infact, his hobby is to watch kingdoms or large communities of 'civilized' creatures to crumble from within, with a little help from him of course. However Edrian is a supreme actor, and can easily decieve even an expert observer with a personality he might have made up on the fly, and using this amazing ability of his he has avoided showing his true personality to those whom have no reason to know.

Backstory
As a denizen of Kez-ar Zha, Kehieleth was extremely arrogant and proud of his origins as one of the native dopplegangers, many of whom held high positions within the ever-changing hierarchy of trickery and deceit which was the customary trade of most denizens of the Dark. However his arrogance was perhaps just a shred too high in his youth and it made him foolish. With what seemed a fool-proof plan to him, Kehieleth attempted to usurp the position as emperor of his house. Sadly this ended in utter failiure and humiliation on Kehieleth's part when he was caught in the early stages of his plan by the very Emperor he was attempting to remove. Normally he'd have been captured, put in a mock court and then been sentences to an eternity of torture, however due to how utterly pathetic his attempt had been (in the eyes of the two thousand year old Emperor) he was merely stripped of his house name and banished from Kez-ar Zha to the mortal realm.

Arriving on the plane of mortal races, battered and torn from his rough handeling during his 'trials' and utterly humiliated, Kehieleth felt completely beaten and was near ready to take his own life on the spot. However he was stopped by his now growing hate and spite for those whom had humiliated him, and no matter how long it would take he would make them pay! And with those thoughts on his mind Kehieleth set out into the world of mortals to learn more of his new conditions, early on finding a suitable human form and beginning his long process of learning everything there was to know about the habits and quirks that most races had, while continuing to develop his own powers and abilities. However he took note of how limited they were, due to this worlds lack of complete darkness, infact it had this massive orb of stingy... brightness... hanging over it for a long time every now and then, who thoughts that shit up?

It was during this period, about a hundred years after first arriving in the world of mortals that Kehieleth began to be a truly active force in the world as he used large communities of humans and other 'foolish' mortal races as training grounds of deceit and subterfudge, making them collapse from within, while he himself watched safely from a distance with a sadistic grin on his face. It was from this that he began to take a liking to creating chaos and disruption among communities, and in his pursuit for perfection of his powers he continued to seek larger, more powerful and much more complicated targets. It began with a few trade cities in far-away kingdoms, but then he quickly moved on to other places, even razing countries by use of his shape-shifting and manipulative ways. What can be said to be Kehieleth's crowning achievement was the collapse of the tyrannic dark elf kingdom that assailed Mirtholme nearly five hundred years ago((I don't mind changing this if it gets in the way of something of yours)), and was also the first time his precense was discovered by anyone at all, but in this case it was an important war-prisoner of Mirtholme whom Kehieleth had decided to aid for his own reasons. Going by the name 'Kehiel Edrian Zhard', Kehieleth became a legend among some, though most thought he was a mere story, which suited Kehieleth just fine.

A near hundred years ago Kehieleth has emerged in the public eye within Mirtholme as a powerful sorcerer and loremaster of history and magic and holds a prominent position within Mirtholme's capital city. Many have assumed him to be the old myth that 'saved' Mirtholme from the dark elves, though he makes no confirmations or denials of the matter, infact the only reason he targeted the dark elves before Mirtholme was due to their already unstable and fragile leadership, much similiar to that of the Kez-ar Zha one. Right now however he is gathering information and power, but he also has his eyes set on Mirtholme as a potential new target, given the size and power of the kingdom.

So, to clarify so that everyone's aware of everyone else...

Scott's recovering from a solid smack and a good number of vulcan cannon shots and is waiting for Alex to get out of the way so he can polish off the Killbug MkII (which is pretty much just a single gun with only three legs at this point).
Alex is on the Killbug MkII and just met it's inhuman pilot, a Niflos Sloth. He's also met up with the other Niflos enemies in the area...
Which are about a dozen Prides and a massive Gluttony, to which are on fire and being struck by lightning thanks to Sylen and Kestral, respectively.
There's a counterattack. Sylen just got hit in the shoulder by a flying, flaming Pride body. Kestral got struck in midair by an entire carriage thrown with immense strength, which is possessed by the latest and last revealed enemy, an MO Experiment Prototype. This scientifically FUBAR'd criminal is tearing his own path through houses to get closer to Kestral.
Finally, there's Taharial facing off against the Reaping Lillies assassin Isabella. He charges her and runs into her trap bubbles, but her trap turns against her when Kestral's powerful winds blow the bubbles right into her. So, she's ditched the traps and gone to blows with Taharial using that painful bubble blower wand of hers.
Prodigy child Chelsea has been kidnapped by High Chamberlain Ashley Dormond. Joshua and Millie have sought shelter.
Some of your action figures have been broken in the initial attack. Your rage at this tragedy may never be sated.

Thar's coming with a big ol' ball of water that you could probably play Blitzball in and I think that's about it so far. I didn't miss anythin', right?

Hopefully by the end of the fight there will be enough property damage they will have enough rubble and free space to turn into statues for the legends.
