There's also the part where the Fae owned Ireland until the Gaelic tribes assaulted the island, and then when the two met for a treaty the Gaelic were allowed to split the island in half.
They gave the fae the half that was underground, basically banishing them there. Tautha De Danaan means 'people of the mounds'. They are called that because they were forced to live in underground mounds.

She's approved, welcome to your first NPF RP Gira. Hope you enjoy your stay! You'll have to wait until my next post is up for Shin to show up - she'll need to be late, unfortunately. Would also like to note that, even without her powers, she should be physically stronger than most of the PCs. Dean might be near that point, what with his weapon and his Love of Strength, Next post will come sometime next week. I'd like to wait for Bard or Riin to post, since their characters had been addressed in the previous Prof. Landry speech, and Dal called Sao out just now too. But! If you guys take too long, I'll just move the scene along. Edit: Sean's also near Shin and Dean's strength level, if appearance is something to go off of.

Yeah Sean's pretty fit.
Anyways, I'll try to get a post, it'll mostly consist of confusion. |

Although I suppose most of that is the 'normally stupidly huge' thing. Just wanted to check whether Jo would be a bit stronger than she looks.

Moving on! I'm very sorry about the substantial delay between my last GM post and this one. Suffice to say, I have been extremely busy the past few weeks and it has been rather difficult to sit down and find the time to type something up. But, excuses aside, I feel the length of this post is suitable for a month of inactivity. Don't know how many of you are still into this, but I'll keep running it under the assumption that interest remains, until it becomes clear that is doesn't! If you don't want to continue, don't feel like you have to though. I can understand if you just aren't interested, given the time between posts on my part. Also, since I handed out a bunch of names and new characters, NPC bio time! Adeline Fletcher, aka Miss Sue. Karen Amsel, the busty blond art teacher. Rachel Demia, probably not normal. Alphonse Shuyin, the Professor of Manners and Etiquette. I thought about doing a write-up for the Grim Reaper, but decided against it. His name's Johnny Skelenbones, but I don't think I'll reveal anything else about him, his role in the classroom or whether or not he's actually the Grim Reaper. He is male though. Other bits of information worth noting: Michael still doesn't know the blond teacher (Karen's) name, I just used it to make writing the post itself easier. Karen's accent messed with Rachel's name (called her Vachel) when she introduced her to Michael, so, feel free to play with that if you want; it isn't a typo. Landry's classroom is pretty much dark right now - so it is possible that you could have snuck out. All injuries from the lightbulbs were minor. Beyond that, for the next few posts, I've decided to give you a lot more freedom in deciding what to do. Talk to other PCs, explore the school, or (if you can find a way) I'll allow you all to control your own NPCs for a while longer, so you can write a scene with them in it. Just keep in mind that any of them, who are students, will still be in homeroom for a little over two hours. Could always text them? Or skip straight to lunch, that's fine too. Timelines won't be in perfect sync here. If there's any players who want to write a scene in an area I haven't described yet, but don't want to cut your post in half (or a quarter, or something) waiting for me to reply and describe the setting, PM me where you want to go and I'll give you the details. This might also be an important step when creating a new teacher for your NPCs. Oh, I'll also be sending out a few PMs with Non-General Knowledge to players (things their characters would know, but I haven't mentioned) as it becomes important. Please don't share these - I'm using PMs for a reason. Are there questions?

Its purposely meant to be confusing!
Simple Schedule: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm: Homeroom Class 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm: Free Period (Lunch) 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm: Club Time(s) To explain a little, Homeroom Class is a combination of what the school considers core subjects, like math, history, current events and 'practical' skills. The homeroom teacher is able to modify this curriculum - to a point. Most just add their own specialties to it. Homeroom doesn't always start at nine and doesn't always last until noon, but it is expected that students will attend it - unless they've made arrangements otherwise. The free period is traditionally thought of as lunch, but there's no requirement to eat or anything. Most teachers do that though, some clubs are closed in this time period consequently. Students can, in theory, go home without penalty at this point as well. Clubs are a little more confusing. Club Heads (or whatever title they like) typically stay in their room all day (save at lunch) in case some students decide to skip homeroom and come work independently. Club times are just times in the schedule when 'scheduled' clubs run - ones like the Shark Fighting Club that require teacher supervision or student run fan clubs - and when students are encouraged to attend at least one of their registered groups. Note that every student must spend a minimum of an hour a week in all their registered clubs. They are encouraged to be there for more than that, as most clubs have work they'll need to do and the club heads are happy to help (not to mention the clubs are suspiciously well supplied), but there's no compulsion beyond that. I'll send out some PMs to give out more information on what kind of schedules your clubs have. Should have it before the weekend. Is everyone on the same page? Students would have been sent handbooks with this kind of information in it, though not in as concise form. The first homeroom is normally meant to fix this, but Professor Landry ended her's before you got to these issues. Too bad?

Finally posted! So, anyone want to volunteer for first interview? Di'll be after every single one of you over the course of the RP, getting it over with sooner rather than later may be a good idea.

Clubs have been sent out, please ask questions if you've got some. I have a list of all the clubs I've created too, so if someone wants a copy, ask.
In addition, I'll outline the general functions of some of the building's used in the school. The layout generally places letters of the alphabet together. Note that student dorms are, for the moment, going to be left located ambiguously. They may receive a building assignment eventually, or they might just be a stand alone numbered complex. A - The Principle's Office is located here - it's also in the center of the school grounds. Faculty have a lunchroom here as well. Its generally the place to look for teachers who aren't in their usual rooms. C - The school's hockey complex, designed like a commercial arena, it contains a handful of restaurants and four floors of seats. Also does ice dancing shows and the like. Its very high class. The seats are separated from the ice by plastic and heated - they're more like restaurants than bleachers. Surprisingly popular place to study. D - The main cafeteria. Students eat for free. F - The computer clubs meet here. There's free Wi-Fi and spare machines for students to use, even if they are a year or two old. G - the sports complex. It contains the practice rooms for sports teams that don't need particularly specialized areas, as well as indoor courts for things like tennis and racket ball. If you're looking for a club that does physical things, this is usually the place to start. H - the pool complex. There are several pools here. Students swim for free! J - Baseball Field, its a entirely outdoor, so more a designated area than a building. L - The Library. Most the rooms in this building are made by strategically arranged bookshelves. It can be easy to get lost here. Only the first three floors have books, the fourth is protected by a locked door. M - A strange, three story, slab of stone topped by a garden. People avoid it for some reason. Near Building A. Y - A field reserved for the track and field team. It has some tracks and some fields. Z - the animal building. Most clubs that deal with animals meet here, most notably the riding club. Misc - there are two tracks surrounding the school. A small one, for students to run on, and a larger one reserved for horses. How wonderful! Will also post sometime soon, today or tomorrow, to respond to the responses I've gotten. Unless there's a lot more posts first, I suppose.
