I like to dig holes. Out of all the worlds I started to mess around with, I always end up with a semi-elaborate underground base.

These are not friends, they are evil aspects in disguise.

And you can edit the textures and there are many very nice high-res packs floating around to fit many tastes

If any of you are playing and are looking for a different look, I can heartily recommend the Painterly graphics.

Here's a video of the pack in action, so to speak.
And here's where to find it. The website offers some alternate graphics too, which you can find using the button that says "give me a personalized pack". It's a very intuitive process.

I set one of those rainforest trees on fire on my server's southern continent. Day or night I don't even need a compass to orient myself anymore.

I got tired of goddamn livestock dancing around my place. So I built a fire trench to deal with them.

Would use lava, but I don't want to haul that many bucket loads up and it would destroy feathers and leather left behind.
