I actually think that's improved already. I'm not sure if you're doing anything different, but there's a few parts of that that I think are nicely done (namely: torso area, sword hilt) also, I know you like to draw busty ladies, but it's nice to see one who isn't. Good job!

And as far as 2 cents about using references (from the earlier topic) EVERYONE uses references. One of the first things I do when I'm drawing is I look for references, professional animators take videos of themselves doing the motions. In the Document of Metal Gear Solid 2 (it basically has a ton of concept art and such) they actually included photos they took for reference for certain parts of the game. So using references is probably one of the best things you can do (just a statement for everyone, not just pinpointing you, Kyanbu)

I'm thinking most of that stuff I scrapped is save-able/not really all that bad.

Would you believe me when I say that for once I actually swollowed my pride and looked for Motorcycle refs only to not find a single good one?

My dad had a bike but I'm not going to risk hanging out with him (revealing my loserness in life) to find out if he still has it.
