Technically, it's the District of Columbia, but I've never actually been able to figure out what it's supposed to be. It's simultaneously not part of any state, its own district, and its own city. I suppose that's supposed to make it neutral territory to all the states in the US, but even Vatican City makes more sense than that. I can get the city/district thing, but I'm pretty sure a district is supposed to be a smaller part of a larger body.

It used to be a territory, but someone must have been on crazy juice in the late 1800s.

Oh joy, more snow. It's honestly like white as fuck outside right now. Glad I haven't gt anything planned for the next few days that involve me going anywhere near the front door.

Thankfully I managed to dodge the ridiculous snowstorm that just hit Saskatchewan by fleeing west to Calgary. At first I was all "Wha? There's more snow here than SK!" but then fate decided to correct that in due time.

You should look up what the snow in Regina and Saskatoon looks like.

Oh thank fuck it's finally all melted out here!

Though I appreciate the aesthetic of snow, there are way too many ways in which it fucks everything up over here. Comes with living in a place where it never snows I guess.
