The first comic I read was Episode 781: The Travel District. I had followed a link from an Eragon hate blog. The text for the link read "8-Bit Theater: The funniest thing you will ever read."
And that's how I discovered webcomics. |

I came cause a friend told me, and I stayed for the sociopathy.

First of all, Final Fantasy One is my all time favorite old school game.
![]() After my friend introduced me to this web-comic, I could not get enough. I went through the over 1,000 episodes in a matter of a couple weeks. It is cool, cute, and delightfully twisted. Keep up the good work, Brian! ![]() |

I was bored and using random search on Wikipedia. I found the 8-bit Theater page, got linked here, and, eventually, made a forum account.

I can't hardly remember how I ended up here. I started reading back when the comic was in it's teens and followed it regularly for over a year before I slipped out of the habit for some reason or another.
A couple of years later, a friend of mine sends me an e-mail commenting on the funny comic he just found, and I was amazed to see that 8-bit theater was still running strong, and I've been following ever since. |

I saw a page posted a forum I frequent, The Ordo Off Topicus, about a fortnight ago. It was Black Mage's explanation of how Lex Luthor was actually good, and I decided to check it out.
I'm dead glad I did.

I don't remember where I found this, but it was only like a month ago and I've read them all so far. So damn epic.

I ended up here, somehow, after reading Bob and George. The particular comic I happened to read was something sadistic involving Black Mage and Fighter, which I found funny. After finally catching up in the comics; this -> http://www.vgcats.com/comics/?strip_id=65 made a lot more sense.
