I rebuilt the clock using LEDs and a couple less wires. Unfortunately the program I am using to run it was designed with individual latches for each digit in mind so I'm going to have to write my own program. I think I might be overloading the BCD to 7-segment decoder by using it to run 12 digits. Personally though the entire reason for the switch was to practice my problem solving and multiplexing skills. Seeing as I was successful on the first try and even manged to link two multiplexers into one big multiplexer I'm rather happy with it.
