Of all the things I thought I'd never have a reason to say "come on guys don't fight about ponies" has got to be prrrrretty high up there.

Not really accurate at all. You're free to not like the show or not check it out or whatever, but I think you have better uses of your time than value judgments without any proper basis and analyzing a show with no real knowledge of said show. It's just a tad silly and unnecessary.

Why is it that big of a deal? Show about ponies, people like it, people don't.

It has nice pictures, and funny captions on those pictures in threads.

I don't see where the insult is coming from, Snake. You're the one who went, "If you don't like this show then I feel SO BAD FOR YOU", which is kind of more extreme than what he was saying to you. I mean, it's going, "Hah, if you don't like this show, something is SERIOUSLY WRONG WITH YOU, and YOU DON'T ENJOY THINGS THAT ARE AWESOME." It kind of looks like you're just feeling defensive over liking the pony show.

Okay did I typo or did anyone actually read what I said? My reference was only even to the sudden popularity of the show, not the show itself. My stance on the show isn't even hate, isn't even dislike! I like it. It's cute. It's decent. It's more than I can say for other drivel out there. It's not the BEST show on television but it's probably the cutest.

I didn't even complain in such a way that I think MLP captioned images should stop. They're usually hilarious. This is yet another case of reality not meeting expectation, and I think we can all agree expectation bars get pretty high here when NPF drums up a topic.

DON'T TAKE THIS AS A REASON TO STOP CALLING SNAKE. I CAN CHANGE.

Okay there's one episode that is pure Star Trek reference (Tribbles what are those no these are called Parasprites they're totally different), as well as subtle little jokes like the fact that during a race, the character who is the voice of reason wears the number 42, and when one character is randomly shrunken down they call her "Appleteeni." The little details, y'know?

I can't blame anyone for not liking the show, anyway. It's fine to not like something. I just recommend that people give it a shot before going "ewwww nooooo."
