Mine is a self designed and created yantra of layered symbolism, the four circles are actually one circle that has been inverted into compound circles, which allows for a conjoining spot in the middle, the arrows leading in from the stars represent creative insight where as the prism in the middle represents how I conjoin those insights into creativity and artistry.

The entire piece is meant to represent my contradiction between law and chaos, Taoism and expressiveness, journey and stillness, weakness and strength, life and death, perfection and advancement (away from perfection) and multiplicity == singularity while being both multiple and single, the contradiction being the insight and sources.

This is the joke/holiday version of the new prototype of the lead sprite of a modified Wesnoth graphic that is made for the awesome and badass Insane Hermit add-on campaign for Battle for Wesnoth.

For those of you who are still wondering, yes, my avatar is the insane hermit mage themed in that campaign.

Most of my avatars are chosen because they relate, somehow, to a book, game, or TV show I'm liking. Also are pretty. But I picked this one because she reminded me of a character I'm playing in an RP here.

Also, my avatar comes from an insane homocidal fanatic who sold his soul to the (or rather one of the) devil(s) trapped inside a rock for a little more power and theoretical "immortality" only to be so thoroughly taken by the fiend that his own personality was completely subsumed to the point he murdered his only son, attempted to do the same to his daughter, and killed himself (uselessly, as it turned out) in order to provide enough blood to turn an innocent girl into a world-devouring demon (temporarily sexy-looking, mostly an undead monstrosity - she got better). And, you know, it matches my user title. What? "Eye-row-knee?" Huh? Yeah, I guess my shirt is wrinkled...

Addendum: How can I get a strike-through in the title? BBCode is not and never has been my friend. Also, I'm a loser. But mostly it's BBCode's fault, I'm sure.
