Steel watched the girl explain uneasily. It was to easy. It was just like that time they had met that sphinx at the earth temple. Wait, had that happened? Man, continuity was confusing. At any rate he couldn't shake off the feeling that this was a trap that would end with vicious, vicious mauling. Again. For the first time. Whatever. Plus he still didn't know where they were.
"Do we have any white mages in the party? We could just rez the guy and ask him." He said, looking around.

We'll have to do this the hard way.

Then again, SSB didn't any ideas of his own. The Fithfiend theory seemed the most logical but since that was taken he went back to pondering. Marital problems?....Mind control? No.....Ah! I got one! SSB walked over to the body and faced the girl. She was watching us with (evil, simple-minded) amusement. Something will happen once we guess correctly, but do we really want that? And why did Pyros make a portal that would send us here? "This body is none other than Regulas Tera! Fifthfiend killed him, for fun I guess. Fifth recorded the message and then got bored again and left." He explained his idea with his arms crossed and nodding his head. Then, the stench of corpse made him take a few steps back.

If there are white mages in this party, they'd better heal me!
Wizardcat, understandably, was upset. One reason was obvious. He had been hammertime'd by Shiney which the force of had knocked him through the earth and then into a portal where landing had cause quite some pain, a spinal injury, and paralysis. Being knocked around tends to be conductive to frustration. Quite frankly, that's putting it lightly. If the camera somehow did a zoom-in on the feline's blood, it would probably look as if it was boiling. The other reason that was not so obvious was that he knew the answer to the current challenge. However, in his current state, Wizzle was not capable of speech until someone actually noticed him and used the proper healing spells. And, it was not likely, in the cat mage's mind, that any of the nearby idiots would be able to figure it out on their own. The longer he had to wait, the more likely it would be that he would have some 'accidents' later on and 'accidentially' hit some party members, he thought. The teamkill count needed increasing, anyway. And the way things were going, it was going to increase by a lot.

TDK noticed Wizardcat twitching on the floor and crouched down beside him. "Heya, wizzles. What's up?"
"..." TDK's randomly appearing cat ears twitched at the lack of a response. "You look pretty banged up. Where's Mike, he has healing spells..." |

Flare and co were being difficult again, and had asked me where they were, as if I, in my great knowledge, knew where the devil we were. As it is, I barely even knew where I was going half the time when I traveled with the N.P.F. Brigade on their madcap adventures. It's not like I had simply opened a portal with knowledge of a place to go, as some of us tend to not know where we're going when we're in another dimension after never traveling through dimensions before!
The girl with the yellow headscarf spoke up. "Oh Pyron, your spoken aloud internal monologues are so funny when they occur!" Wait? Did I say that part out loud, or had the simultaneous digs for information from the others unearthed my own inner thoughts? What? Now that I think about it, I can hear my own voice! I had thought I'd entered an internal monologue, but now it was plain to me that- oh. Gotta stop now." Pyros ceased his spoken monologue and turned to face the others. "Guys, I don't know, I'm not telling, and hey look! A three headed monkey!" Pyros ran away, leapt over the room and hid behind it's far wall. They would never find me here, where I sat, because I was simply too quick for their feeble minds. I can only hope that one of them will solve this puzzle, and then when it's over they'll forget all about all the burning questions they have for- am I still saying this aloud?"

Thad once again reached into his backpack, looking for something. "Hmm...I know it's in here...Aha!"
Thadius pulled out a blue bottle and read the side. "Medium healing potion. Mostly intended for internal use. In extreme cases, pour on wound and attach severed limb if necessary. WARNING: In rare cases, addiction can form. If you find yourself addicted to drinking healing potions, consult the nearest temple of Lathander for immediate aid. You might be a PC (Player Character)." Thad then looked at Wizardcat. "Well, I doubt you can swallow right now, so on it goes!" Thad uncorked the bottle and poured the contents, a viscous light blue fluid, onto Wizzy. Where it contacted the wounds, dark blue sparks appeared as the potion worked its magic. Thad only hoped he had used the right potency and that Wizzy wasn't allergic...

Relm was listening to Arhra talk, getting very interested in this whie beaming with a similar joy, because she got the feeling she just should. She also began preparing to reply when she made a sudden outburst, taking the triangle and throwing it, along with some other stuff. There was also some things said afterwards about a puzzle and a murder. Fun stuff ensued, while she just watched, not really doing anything but playing with some dice she had pulled from.... somewhere. And instead of numbers, they had colors. Blue, Green, Red, Yellow, Orange, and Purple, each with an inversely colored eye on them. She was rolling these on the ground, studying them, and waiting for something involving her to occur.
Then, Pyros fled over to a corner, and over a wall. Not being really interested in the murder, she flew over to Pyros following him while giggling madly, perhaps for no reason at all and listened to his monolouges sweetly. Relm didn't interrupt, she just watched with a faint curiosity while she waited for something new to happen. |

"Hey! I could do that too! BEHOLD!"
And with that, Thadius brandished his coolest invention. Zombie-in-a-can! Without waiting for the usual 'No,' 'Stop,' 'Don't,' and 'It'll turn him into a cannibalistic abomination of the natural order' protests, Thadius proceeded to zombify the dead man by pouring Zombie-in-a-can all over the corpse.

Necromancy, was quite enough to draw her from watching Pyros, even though she had just thrown a tiny pebble at his head. She ran back over to where everyone else was, and watched the 'zombie-in-a-can' take effect, then walked next to Thadius, being very near the zombie indeed. "Hey, what is necromancy anyway?"
