If they bring in Flintheart, will they be making him South African like how he was originally conceived, or Scottish, like in the original cartoon

Gonna guess Louie's the doofus class clown archetype, Dewey's the cool cucumber preppy one, and Huey's the nerd

Because Abed is never not the nerd

"Slated to return are Donald Duck, Flintheart Glomgold, Duckworth, Gyro Gearloose, Gizmoduck, Magica DeSpell, Gladstone Gander, Ma Beagle, and the Beagle Boys."

GLADSTONE! God I hope more of the less used Duck family shows up. And Clan McDuck and Coot Kin! It'd be nice to get an episode with Della to see the triplets with their mom. Gus Goose is probably too simple a character. But if Gladstone is slated then we might get Fethry Duck too, since they're all cousins.

Ahh I'm just so hype. Carl Barks made my childhood come alive. And I'm so glad that his creations will hit another round of kids!

Barks' 'Duck-Verse' brought the most complete continuity to the stories stemming from original Disney IP characters (Mickey, Donald, etc). It was cool when that spirit was continued by Darkwing Duck as a spin-off of Ducktails, and I always wondered why they didn't bother to keep extending that universe.

I've spent no small amount of thought trying to figure out if Goof Troop's Spoonerville exists in the same reality as Duckburg and St. Canard.

I love this. I love this? This line of thought, I love this.

Spoonerville exists in Delaware County, Ohio. (As seen in "A Goofy Movie")
Duckburg, St Canard and Mouston exist in "Calisota, USA", an entirely fictional place.

Calisota does seem to line up with Northern California, though, with some elements of Minnesota splashed in.

But we know that Goofy is regularly around Donald and Mickey. He's clearly been to Mouston, which is very near Duckburg. So since we KNOW he's been in Calisota, the question becomes- is Calisota superimposed on our USA or is the Disneyverse USA an entirely foreign entity?

Edit: I got off track. Since Goofy has been to Mouston, I think we can reasonably assume that Calisota locales and Spoonerville are in the same universe.

Also: Quack Pack introduces a primarily human demographic, as well as the nephew's original personality attempts. (These may not stick, but to copy-paste from the wiki- "The show was created to give each of the nephews their own voices and personalities. Huey was the smooth-talker and schemer, Louie was the athlete and oddball, and Dewey was the intellectual and prankster.")

I am in the belief that the Disneyverse USA is much like GTA in that there are expy's of various states and cities. Calistota for example is primarily California with Duckburg being more akin to Anaheim and San Francisco

If I absolutely HAD to name cities, I would say St. Canard is analogous to San Francisco, and Duckburg is Oakland, with Mouston being described in recent comics as "Near Duckburg"... Pleasanton?

I will defer to your judgment as my american geography is kind of weak.

Canonically, the Audubon Bay Bridge (a gray bridge you can see prominently in faroff shots of both St. Canard and Duckburg) connects St. Canard to Duckburg. They basically are just like San Fran and Oakland, insofar as they're not just 'fairly close' but right smack dab next to each other. That likely explains how Launchpad can chill with both Darkwing and Scrooge without a major relocation.

Duckburg's more like a large town or suburb on the 'mainland' (no real skyscrapers to speak of), while St. Canard is a major metropolis on its own island.

Also canonically, Duckburg is north of San Francisco, with Calisota apparently constituting Nothern California in some parallel universe where California is split in half. So, that's what happened in Disney's America (where Goofy, Donald, and Mickey all live, as well as a considerable contingent of our afternoon TV crew); California had some cataclysmic split and Calisota left.

California (albeit smaller than its former self) still exists, though, as Goofy and Max still go there (more specifically to LA) in Goofy Movie. California is just now only southern California.

If there's one thing I do love, it's Disney Afternoon TV canon. (You can even try to cram TaleSpin in there, though it takes place on the other side of the world and likely in a different time period. Rescue Rangers and Bonkers are also fair game. Characters from all the aforementioned shows appear in cameos or gag references that imply they all exist in the same universe.)

EDIT: TaleSpin does take place on the same planet, but in the past (the year 1937, or thereabouts) in Cape Suzette, which is probably on the opposite side of the Pacific Ocean. (Possibly even in and around the Indian Ocean, if you really wanted to ensure it fit in with its source material.)
Bonkers takes place in the same universe and actually is in California (not Calisota), as it's in Los Angeles. Humans apparently do exist in the Disney Afternoon-verse, but like Piquel, most humans aren't terribly fond of toons, and segregation is apparently involved, which might explain why so few (if any) humans live in Duckburg and St. Canard (and, for that matter, maybe that's how Calisota split from California, with Calisota becoming some sort of a haven for oppressed toons? Who knows.)
Interestingly, the biggest debate is with Rescue Rangers. It doesn't really fit neatly into Afternoon-verse canon like the others do; in fact, one of the only canon cameos has Darkwing listening in on Montorey Jack with a device that supposedly enables him to listen in on parallel universes.

A friend of mine has said you can see a young Scrooge in the background of Talespin on a treasure hunting journey.
