Video Games D-Resonate Sonata of the Phantasm Pre-Alpha test and Dev Thread

WAIT!!! Before you read, please know that I only posted this mess to show that the game is being worked on, and to show what I've done with the level maps so far and show how the Platformmer kit stencyl made plays. And no The Void Trap concept is not in this one. I'm still figureing out how I'm going to go about coding something like that.

Okay so Sarina's sprite sheet still isn't done yet due to size issues. but now that I got a size "64 px high" to focus on. I can start working on the sheet. Since my sister's out of school monday and tuesday, there won't be much of an update next week. Because I'll only have 20 hours to work on them that week, instead of the usual 32.

Another problem is rather or not she'll end up being 32 bit or a full hd sprite like the ones seen in "Rayman Origins" and "Bloodrayne Betrayl" since her sprite will only be 64 px high.

Also as a way of testing out a few things early, mainly dropbox, I've uploaded what I've done so far of the D-Resonate Vol1 Alpha build.

Disclaimmer!! This is a test build and is in no way the planned Pre Alpha Build version (Ver 0.05) which won't be ready till Spring/Summer 2013!! Due to me not having the money to get a Stencyl Studio Membership (It's $200!!! A YEAR!!! >_<). I can ONLY export the test in .swf format (Flash) instead of as an App. And won't be able to till sometime close to the Pre Alpha Build release.

This Test only shows the level maps. While you can explore what I've made so far there are no graphics nor backgrounds made yet. This is only to show proof that the game is indeed being worked on. also you can't really do anything but explore for the time being.

About Samurai Legend Musashi's first and second level music playing in the background:
Since I still havn't gotten around to making any music for the game, I'm using some of the ost tracks from the PS2 game "Samurai Legend Musashi" This music is not mine and will be removed and replaced with my own original pieces just before the official 2013 pre alpha test. All music tracks used ingame belong to Squareenix and it's original composer! I do not own nor claim to own ANY of the sounds you'll hear in this test build nor do I plan on making a profit off of this. Thank you for understanding.

Download link taken down while I make some changes. Will be back up with more content and a proper sprite. Along with temp tracks that I can legally use and hopfully I can get custom contorls working without triggering synax errors by next week.

Instructions for use.
*Make sure you are running the most recent version of Shockwave Flash Player available!
*There's is no install. Once you download simplay open the game using your Internet browser.
* you must be using Windows XP, Vista, 7, or 8. I have not tested this on a Mac (I'm dirt poor!) so I'm not sure if this'll run or not on those machines. Honestly it should as they support swf just like any other Computer.

Game Controls.
Keyboard only for now.
Arrow Key Left (<) and Right (>) = Movement Left and Right

Z key = Jump

X Key = Run (hold down X and press < Arrow key or > Arrow Key to run left or right)

Down Arrow Key (while standing) = Ducking (pro tip: due to a bug with the contorls, Jumper is a bit slippery. Because this, he'll actually slide a bit if you press the Down Arrow Key while it's walking/running.)

Down Key (While in mid air) = Stomp (WARNING!!!! DO NOT DO THIS!! DUE TO A NASTY GLITCH IN THE GAME'S CODING, YOU MAY GET STUCK/FALL THROUGH THE FLOOR!!! This will be corrected in the official pre-alpha test)

Z Key (While in mid air) = Air Jump (for bug testing reasons, you can do this an infinite number of times until you hit something... thank stencyl...And yes only Queenie will be able to do this in the Beta Test.)

Discriptions of each scene, area, Screenshots, and more later as I do not have the time right now.
