How about using a quantum vacuum virtual plasma thruster? Sail across the Sea of Dirac! I really hope they turn out to actually work. I will never get sick of saying 'quantum vacuum virtual plasma'.

I guess the moral of the story is you can't get more ridiculous than actual theoretical physics.

I love that thing because I could just see physicists wracking their brains to find SOME way this thing could even theoretically be possible, since it appeared to be magic.

Last I checked the whole "pushing against quantum plasma" thing was just a potential theory. Part of me hopes they haven't proven thats whats going on because I love the idea of NASA having an engine that appears to break the laws of physics
