Renny shielded his eye with his visor (THE GOGGLES! THEY DO SOMETHING!) with a particular sense of annoyance from the sandy tempest engulfing them with such force that could even bring legendary flyers to the dirt.
"I don't like this. I can't even see the ocean and the ship from here! I hope the others are doing ok..." "Those gemstones are shed like tears from the big one that composes Krunder," "We can't do our best damage to Krunder with the storm in the way, but we can reduce the power of the storm by killing those damn Delstus. Unfortunately, I'm not knowledgable about their abilities. We've buffed up considerably, but proceed with caution nonetheless." "If we can weaken the Sand Scourge, we might be able to get off the ground again." Renny looked at the array of foes and coughed once from the sand in the air before he spoke. "Sounds like a sensible idea. I guess we'll do it that way, but keep the fire focused on a few at a time, starting from the left! If what we think is true, gradually chipping their numbers down will make the next easier to hit!" -------------------------------- Order Phase 1: Rage Shower Device Constructed. Alice spends 50 rage. Formation Crit chance increased by 25%. 2: Formation change [Alice] [Donovan] [Vaporeon] [Crawdaunt] [Nimbeon] [Pelipper] [Xatu] [Exeggutor] [Ursauring] [Eelektross] [Sakuya] [Mollesk] [Umbreon] [Jumpluff] [Shiftry] [Takano] [Rage Shower Device] 3: Angelo sacrifices Exeggutor's action to use 2 items freely. An X accuracy is used on Sakuya. An X Special Attack is used on Whitney. 4: Renny activates his trainer action "Guiding Support" at the cost of Mollesk's action. Serene Grace effect and Lock-On is applied to Nimbeon 5: Donovan switches to Ninjask form. Also activates Pokebrid Action (Bug type) to attempt to lower Delstus A's evasion by 1 stage. Combat Phase (Organized in order by Modified Speed. See bottom for detail) Note: All accuracy guesses were assuming that evasion debuffs failed. If the debuffs were successful, please modify (or ask me to modify them). If any of the Delstus die and there would be more attackers trying to hit the dead target, move their attacks to the leftmost Delstus. Umbreon Leavanny Jumpluff Donovan Shiftry Takano Nimbeon Alice Xatu Pelipper Sakuya Ursaring Eelektross Whitney Vaporeon Crawdaunt Twiloch does nothing (Except play with shadow puppets) and gains 100 rage. That big one has two sets of hit points? I call hax!" Evangaleen shouted. "It doesn't really seem to help it much," Irene observed. "I'm assuming that the HPShield actually comes from that strange black ichorous slime all over its body. We have to cut through that to get at the meaty bits." But the strangest upset came from when all three of the Skuldrer, locked down in Sophia's Test Amoeba, combined into one massive beast and erupted out of the slime, slamming into Kingdra and knocking it out of the battlefield, but unfortunately not into the water. "It's broken free of the Test Amoeba, but it's still suffering the bad poisoning," Chizuru observed. "It's an L-type enemy," Evangaleen observed. "That means it actually occupies two conjoined slots. Break out the two-target attacks if they're more effective." The Aqkuaw was a much steadier looking beast, a composite monster of dark blue flesh and jet black bumps. Its hunched over body was held up by two short, stubby legs connected to massive, stumpy feet ending in large claws. It wasn't as big as an Omnisroth, but it certainly dwarfed the Pulverot of before. "More Ruin Pokemon that can combine," Chizuru breathed. "Check your visors. Its type setup is different." "Ruin and Rock dual type," Mika confirmed. "Adjust your tactics. Anyways, what's up with the Lathiron using a Psychic-type Signature Technique?" "Just be glad that it loses its type advantage," Irene said, whirling around to throw some of the rainwater off of her body, much good that did her. "Actually, there might be something interesting to it. I'll need to see another Lathiron, though." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Krunder Battle (Turn 02) -----Turn 02 Action Phase----- - Umbreon: Spacegoat: Ursaring > Mollesk. - Leavanny: Ursaring's Move Pwr +50%. - Jumpluff: Delstus B takes 126 damage. Despite the damage they suffered, this wasn't nearly as bad as it could be considering their opponent. There had to be something else... Last edited by Astral Harmony; 10-06-2011 at 03:30 AM. |

Renny squinted hard to peer through the torrential veil of sand and debris.
"Two of the Delstus are gone. And we only lost Eelektross. This is good so far... but I can't shake the feeling something is wrong. The other ruin generals were so much more difficult..." Renny was deep in thought as to why things were so different. Oddly enough, the two ruin generals, Krunder and Lathiron, were extremely close together... so they couldn't all be at arms... Twiloch's words echoed in his mind... "They could never trust humans who fear them to the point of baseless anger and murderous intent. They could never return to the lord's side because they have abandoned our crusade. Their days are numbered..." "... But why? If they had power and allies alike..." *KOFF KOF* He had trouble breathing clearly in the extreme sandstorm as he watched everyone fight, his own pokemon acting as support with their acute senses. "Impact, if our predictions are right, we should get visual of Krunder again soon, and it might get more aggressive once the Delstus are gone. Here, use this!" Renny hurried over and handed him a Rage Rocket for his use for a foreseeable assault... "Hey... Donovan is it? Can you switch with Professor Ricewood? Nothing against you, but I'm sure her personal equipment can help bypass the sandstorm!" He then continued with giving advice and encouragement, speaking more to the headset than shouting." "Ricewood, can you, *Kof* summon Kyogre? If the sand gets all wet and heavy to blow in the wind, it might ease up the sandstorm! Everyone, keep it up! The Delstus seem to be really weak!" *If all the Delstus get killed and assuming that Tropius and Hariyama has not yet acted.* "Perfect! Good going! Is everyone alright!?" "This is rather strange... So far, there Krunder has been slightly on the passive side. I would have imagined that with all the cover he had, he would have gone more on the offensive." "Wait! Please don't get any closer to him just yet! Can we get someone to use Earthquake to shake up the beach near Krunder? Don't aim for him specifically though. He hadn't been taking advantage of the cover to attack much and he's not hurt at all... So if he's staying behind cover, he might have laid some traps in the ground itself, if he hasn't otherwise hidden in the ground itself... I mean, ruin types are resistant to ground type moves... He might have suspected we wouldn't mess the earth up a bit with those attacks since they are normally ineffective... Alphonsine, do any of your pokemon know Defog? Can you see if you can clear off this fog so we can all get a better visual?" *Regardless of whether Renny can see him or not* "Krunder! Can you understand me? I only have one question for you! Why did you and the others go rogue!? I could perhaps have understood if you only hated us and nothing more! But you also left the other ruin generals despite how dangerous it would be for you! And you are so close to Lathiron that you two seem like allies! Did you and the other rogue generals leave because you as a group collectively disagreed about Idolus's plan or realized something disturbing that we don't know about? Are you reacting to something!?" Renny watched with abated breath, listened and waited... ------------------------- 1: Formation change [Alice] [Kyogre] [Jeanette] [Vaporeon] [Crawdaunt] [Nimbeon] [Tropius] [Xatu] [Exeggutor] [Ursaring] [Hariyama] [Sakuya RDPA] [Mollesk] [Umbreon] [Jumpluff] [Shiftry] [Takano] [Rage Shower Device] 2: Rain triggers due to Kyogre's come into play ability “Drizzle”. NOTE: When/if all Delstus are killed and there are attacks remaining, halt everyone's actions until Hariyama uses Focused Earthquake around Krunder's area (but not actually aiming for Krunder) to see if there are any suprises hiding within the ground (Pitfalls, traps, hidden enemies and the like) before we attack him. (No delay of anyone else should be needed though since Hariyama has been boosted to have one of the highest speed stats on the field.) Donovan and Twiloch
Donovan was frustrated by his failure to hit one of the Delstus, and it contributed to the anxiety about something that he couldn't quite put his finger on. It was very subtle, but familiar, and that made him nervous. He fell back to the back of the formation, where the sandstorm felt much lighter, and finally took notice that his eyes weren't playing tricks on him. He watched the shadow, which had no objects to be created behind, slowly pulsate and change shape. Donovan thought for a moment and quickly made the connection. "You're one of them aren't you? These "Ruin Generals"? I want to know why have each of you chosen these paths. Krunder appears to take the approach of fighting for himself, yet you have determined that allying with us is your best option. What is it about this organization that made you join?" |

"Chizuru, be a dear and fix my team," Charlotte said through clenched teeth. Seriously, what the fuck. She made a concerted effort to get rid of her fire types, and her team went down in one shot anyways.
Once Monty and Spitz were back on their feet, Charlotte took the first logical course of action and kicked Spitz in the ribs. The effect was clearly visible as it almost seemed like Charlotte's anger was transferred straight into Spitz. His eyes flashed with pain and fury as they stared down his foes. Charlotte bent down and used a full restore, while muttering into his ear the command, "sick 'em." Now fully healed, the hound charged at its foes with a newfound speed, its fangs bared and ready to tear some fish apart. Monty, meanwhile, just stood there. "Yeah just go ahead and be useless you fat fuck," Charlotte growled in frustration, about ready to kick the frog too. --- Chizuru: Revive Spitz and Venosaur Charlotte: Kick the dog on Spitz. Speed +3. Full restore on Spitz Spitz: Superfang on Aqkuaw A Venosaur: Be a useless piece of shit Last edited by Bard The 5th LW; 10-13-2011 at 10:02 PM. |

Pierce was a bit more worried about the Skuldrurs merging into a bigger monster than Lathiron's second set of HP. "I'm guessing the first set regenerates." He mentioned offhandedly. "Only reason I can think of right now for having two sets of HP."
"Anyway, pile some damage on the Aqkuaw, and some of the Skuldrurs. But keep the heat on Lathiron. Evangaleen, rub off one of those little fuckers to make sure they don't merge on us again. Chizuru, sorry to bother you as well, but can you take care of Kingdra?" Pierce stepped in, taking Kingdra's place. He held a mean-looking scythe, smiling staring at the Aqkuaw like he meant business. "C'mon ugly. Let's boogy." He hefted the scythe with both hands onto his shoulder and broke into a run, heading straight for the merged monstrosity. But before he was even close, he swung, stabbing the blade of the scythe into the deck, and jumped, pole vaulting himself and the Crescent Moon a few feet into the air. And then he came down, diving straight at the Aqkuaw, scythe held to his side, and he sliced diagonally past the Aqkuaw, landing in a crouch. -------------------------------------------------- [Targetting Beacon] [Unownaut] [Irene] [Balor] [Spitz] [Venusaur] [Hydreigon (Capstan A)] [Sophia (Capstan B)] [Giratina] [Musharna] [Pierce] [Metagross] [Quiksilver] [Ferrothorn] [Sceptile] [Cloyster] [Matthias] Evangaleen: Killshot on Skuldrur F (-50 Rage). -----Action Phase Turn 03-----
- Stratagem Shift (Kyogre's Drizzle): Sand Scourge has been disabled. Rainstorm is in effect. Ruin Pokemon statistics have changed. The deployment of Kyogre caused a large amount of rainwater to collide with the overwhelming sandstorm. "Renny is a pervert," Mio said simply. Do what now? Renny turned to observe that the lovely female companions in his formation were now being hammered by mud. Somewhat painful looking, but the eroticism was certainly there. But enough about Renny's little fantasies. Krunder's Fog of War strategy vanished nearly in the blink of an eye. It was apparently a lot easier to see through clumps of flying mud than it was to see through a veil of sand. And, even moreso, they could see the effects the rainstorm had on their enemies as well. While it didn't seem to damage the Ruin Pokemon or their general, the rainwater washed the sand from their bodies, allowing the party to observe that they were much like fossilized monsters underneath the dirt and grime. Krunder was still difficult to see. All they could observe was a large red gemstone surrounded by fossilized bone and mostly submerged in the mud. There was no way to tell just how big Krunder actually was. The transformed "Mud Scourge" still apparently bore the general's power over the ground, and the flying and levitating units that had been brought down remained so. But, at least the enemy couldn't hide from them anymore. - Mollesk: Mollesk is helping Ursaring. Ursaring's MPW +50%. - Leavanny: Leavanny is helping Jeanette. Jeanette's MPW +50%. - Ursaring: Delstus A recieves 3133 damage. Delstus A is defeated. Sakuya's Rage +5 (95). The attack was one of the most devastating blows in recent history. Ursaring unleashed a force not unlike a cannon right into the red gem on the Delstus' exposed face. The head almost completely shattered into powder while the rest of its disconnected body structure fell uselessly to the mud. And this was only the first devastating attack. - Nimbeon: Delstus C takes 184 damage (151). Alphonsine's Rage +5 (70). - Jumpluff: Delstus C takes 82 damage (69). Shannon's Rage +5 (65). - Jeanette: Delstus E takes 1342 damage (defeated). Jeanette's Rage +10 (60). Donovan, now in the back of the formation and trying to catch a breath of air that wasn't filled with choking sand and now mud, acknowledged Twiloch's presense. "You're one of them aren't you? These 'Ruin Generals'? I want to know why have each of you chosen these paths. Krunder appears to take the approach of fighting for himself, yet you have determined that allying with us is your best option. What is it about this organization that made you join?" "Everyone has a place where they belong," Twiloch said whimsically. "I honestly don't know where I belong. I sort of wish Phantomere was still around. Oh well, it's not like I can think of anything better than hobnobbing it up with you guys." - Xatu: Alice, Jeanette, and Krogre's Speed has doubled. - Alice: Delstus Ver2 F takes 612 damage (238). Alice's Rage +10 (20). - Whitney: Delstus Ver2 F takes 2642 damage (defeated). - Kyogre: Delstus Ver2 C takes 518 damage (defeated). Delstus Ver2 F takes 1040 damage (defeated). Jeanette's Rage +5. And that was it. No more Delstus. "Impressive," Krunder said, his voice surprisingly clear despite his head being almost completely submerged in the mud and sand. Was he using telepathy? "The humans of this world may be far weaker than they were so many centuries ago, but they've certainly learned their share of tricks to keep up their pace." "Krunder! Can you understand me?" Renny asked the Ruin General. "I only have one question for you! Are you reacting to something!?" "Idolus is a fool," Krunder snorted. "Twiloch knows it, Marionata knows it, Lathiron knows it, and I know it. We've all heard what Phantomere said. Tell me, Twiloch, why aren't you trying to exterminate the humans along with us?" "It's not so simple, Krunder," Twiloch answered. "The significance of that day sixteen-hundred years ago isn't lost on me. Not even Lord Idolus can ignore the mysterious things that happened that one fateful instant. What that creature was and the existence of Gaea and the effects of those human wars. We can't decide what's best to do right now." Krunder's "eye" shined brightly with rage. "Well, we do. The extermination of human life is paramount. Phantomere and those human wars proved that beyond all doubt. Us Ruin Generals who you call 'rogue' will carry out what Idolus and you fools simply cannot. All human life shall end as it should have before Fahngrest was born!" Krunder's anger and rage were both apparent. There wasn't going to be any punches pulled. Krunder was set on destroying the enemies before him, or die trying. - Shiftry: Krunder's Eye takes 11 damage. Shannon's Rage +5. "Umm...is my Inquiry Visor linkup with the Hiroshiho Rei damaged?" Sakuya asked Mio. "The UV reported only 11 damage." "Actually, it was a critical, too." Mio answered her mother. "But it wasn't the most effective tactic against the big boss target. Let's see if it's merely a fluke." - Takano: Krunder's Eye takes 91 damage. Takano's Rage +10. "No fluke, I'm afraid," Jeanette observed through grit teeth. "That...eye's defenses are so far through the roof that it's breached the upper strata. Not even an Almighty attack can do much damage, and it's ignored the vast majority of the eye's protection." - Vaporeon: Krunder's Eye takes 38 damage. Moon's Rage +5. - Crawdaunt: Krunder's Eye takes 54 damage. Moon's Rage +5. Sakuya gripped the controls of the Hiroshiho Rei tightly. "Time to see if I can do something. Go, Hiroshiho Rei!" The golden crescent adorning the helmet of the RDPA radiated powerful white light. Hiroshiho Rei unceremoniously stuck its beam naginata into the mud and directed its open palms to Krunder. "See how you hold up to THIS!" - Sakuya: Krunder's Eye takes 138 damage. "This is bullshit!" Sakuya shrieked. "Something's up! Twiloch, what's the deal with your friend here?!" Sakuya's demands were suddenly answered by Hariyama's move. - Hariyama: Stratgem Shift! Krunder's Hand (Left), Krunder's Hand (Right), Krunder's Foot (Left), Krunder's Foot (Right), Krunder's Chest, Delstaurus A-H have appeared. The earthquake didn't simply test the area around Krunder. It opened a gaping hole right into the beach. Krunder's head disappeared from sight. A hand appeared. A very, very big, very clawed hand. Then the other hand. Sakuya was thankful that her expression was shielded by the cockpit of the Hiroshiho Rei. She quickly deactivated her speech module. "Something that big...impossible." Unfortunately, very possible. Krunder began to climb out of the hole. He rose. And rose. And rose. Krunder was easily over a hundred yards tall. And his body, the large fossilized skeleton of something ancient and terrible, was nearly half as wide as it was tall. "Those other gemstones are kinda weird," Whitney observed to the others, seemingly unshaken by seeing the impossible bulk that was Krunder. "Gem-like stakes stabbed through both feet, both hands, and the spinal column." Sakuya shook her head and reactivated her speech module. "That's it. We destroy those crystal stakes and he break the eye's defenses. Then Krunder is ours." "Good strategy," Krunder marveled. "Just know that I'm going to take off my kid gloves now." Kid gloves? This bastard was packing claws longer than the Hiroshiho Rei. What gloves could possibly-? As though on cue, no less than eight boney creatures leapt down from where they had perched on Krunder. They resembled the Delstus from before, but had apparently traded their arms for considerably larger ribs...ribs with joints that flailed like the limbs of a praying mantis. Each "arm" contained jagged edged similar to broken glass, but as solid as steel. Bonesaws made of bones? Freaks. "Let's see if mankind is destined to seize the future as they did so long ago," Krunder spoke with a tone of challenge. - Tropius: Enemy FoG -50%. The beach was clear of falling mud, though using Defog was almost unnecessar. The clumps of mud flying through the air were simply too heavy to keep flying. And Defog put them down for good. "Now let's have some real fun," Krunder grinned, or at least you think he was trying to grin. The Inquiry Visors fed the team little information... ~ Krunder's Eye (Boss/Ruin/Ground): A large gemstone half-buried in the monstrous skull of Krunder. It's clearly vital to Krunder's survival, but the five large crystal stakes are feeding it power. - Ability Discovered!: Composite Power - All statistics except for Speed seem to be multiplied by the mere existence of the other five red gems. ~ Krunder's Hand (Boss/Ruin/Ground) x 2: Krunder's massive hands have large, red crystal stakes driven through them...and the "wounds" are dripping blood. Those claws are devastating, but it doesn't look like they'll simply be used for raking your flesh to ribbons. - Advisory: these hands are high off the ground. Melee attacks would be difficult to reach unless the target is flying. ~ Krunder's Foot (Boss/Ruin/Ground) x 2: Krunder's oversized feet have large, red crystal stakes driver through them...and the "wounds" are dripping blood. If those feets step on you, it won't be pretty. Flesh-colored bloody pancakes seldom are. ~ Krunder's Chest (Boss/Ruin/Ground): There's also a large, red crystal stake driven right through the spinal column, and the open ribcage provides a very clear display to it. - Advisory: the large crystal stake is nowhere near the ground, preventing melee attacks unless used by airborne units. ~ Delstaurus (Ruin/Steel): Judging from the similar names, this is probably an evolved form of Delstus. The arms are gone completely, but the individual ribs have turned into large, jagged raking claws. It's like some kind of web of slicing limbs. - Advisory: They're obviously stronger than the Delstus. Battle with caution. Sakuya frowned. "We could be in for a massive world of hurt. Tresserhorn, perhaps we can use that hole to cause another Strategem Shift. And in case you didn't follow along, Strategem Shifts are actions that can alter the flow of the battle by using logic, action, and the environment. Turn the tables, if you will. Not all of them are good, but finding clever ways to use the environment could probably get us out of this mess just like it got us into it. Not that I'm saying we did a wrong thing. As it was, we'd be chipping away at Krunder's eye all week and not see a crack." - Delstus Ver1 (Ruin/Ground): HP 850 / Att 90 / Def 120 / SAtt 70 / SDef 90 / Spd 150 - Delstus Ver2 (Ruin/Ground): HP 850 / Att 150 / Def 90 / SAtt 90 / SDef 70 / Spd 180 1. "Can you do it in this weather, Lambdavolt?" Evangaleen asked her partner. For how cold Evangaleen felt in the rain, to the eyes of anyone else she was pretty damn hot when thoroughly soaked. "Jolteon!" Lambdavolt called, then charged a massive electrical current, aimed it with pinpoint accuracy, and unleashed it. A Skuldrur shuddered violently under the high amplitude of the attack, then stood there, motionless and steaming until it eventually just killed over. "Yeesh...I can smell that from here," Evangaleen said, holding her nose. "Just glad the water layer didn't cause backlash." - Chizuru: Spitz has been revived (344). Venusaur has been revived (371). The massive beast that was merely one-sixth of the Water Ruin General called Lathiron began to grow even bigger. "I think it's absorbing a large amount of water into its body," Irene observed. "No doubt that a really powerful attack is coming our way unless we can hit it with a large scale force." - Strategem Shift Chance: A large scale force...do we have something like that? - Sophia: Lathiron A takes 278 damage (2474). Sophia's Rage +10 (30). - Quiksilver: Aqkuaw A takes 256 damage (1395). Rachel's Rage +5 (55). - Hydreigon: Lathiron A takes 344 damage (2130). Sophia's Rage +5 (35). - Aqkuaw A: Musharna has been devoured (Eject). Musharna takes 93 damage (506). "Yeek! It ate Musharna!" Chizuru reached out, but was way too late to save Musharna. Despite its size and cumbersome, meandering appearance, the Akquaw was apparently adept at rushing something and gobbling it up in a single bite. "Looks like being devoured counts as an Eject," Irene warned Chizuru. "You can't simply switch in another Pokemon like that, you can't use items on it, and you don't gain Rage from its damage. Hopefully, Musharna won't stay devoured forever." - Giratina: Lathiron A takes 170 damage (1960). Chizuru's Rage +5 (70). - Unownaut: Lathiron A takes 170 damage (1890). Renny grabbed at his muddy hair in mild annoyance, wiping off the mud clod that clung to the bang nearest to his eye. Mio's sarcastic accusation offended him, especially since he was trying his hardest to keep everyone safe and the rain solved their biggest problem... but the resulting mudbath with wet skintight bikinis and swimsuits of the PATCA ladies was a very alluring sight. He also glanced at his own shirt, which Lola substituted as her bikini top, was completely caked with mud and sand now.
"I guess I need to do some laundry when I get home." He then shook his head as if realizing the context it was used, and ever so glad he didn't say it out loud. As the ground parted and the beach sand slowly spilled and crumbled with individual grains into the massive chasm, Krunder's form climbed out as a massive fossil, breathtaking and horrible with appearance of deathly bones. Even as Renny appealed to him, the general's nature seemed unequivocally ruthless. His minions seemingly also reveled in his malice, their misshapen bodies formed aggressively for combat. "Well, we do. The extermination of human life is paramount. Phantomere and those human wars proved that beyond all doubt. Us Ruin Generals who you call 'rogue' will carry out what Idolus and you fools simply cannot. All human life shall end as it should have before Fahngrest was born!" Renny didn't retort in turn as he instead spurred his friends to attention. "Everyone, be careful!" Renny mentally jolted one of Krunder's soldier nearest to him, attempting to remove it from combat even as the others quickly prepared for the ensuing clash. Then Impact took command. Commands were delivered speedily as the usual positions were abandoned for a temporary blitzkrieg. Renny gave a brief casual salute to Silk as she took his position on the front line. He then strafe along the rearguard as he serially yanked at his pokeballs. "Umbreon, Mollesk, come back to me!" The pokemon were recalled and promptly Renny pinched in some fresh fighters in their place. "Shaymin, Swampert, let's do our best!" He then rushed toward Lola, tugging her wrist with kind strength, his pokemon shielding their flanks. "Lola, come with me!" Racing to the far right of the formation, Swampert stood in front of his master with Shaymin who flapped frantically up and down in the air. Swampert never looked more reliable. His bulk had recently increased with muscle and his stance was wild but his demeanor was ever assured. Shaymin however cheer with absolute mirth, with Silk, Donovan and Mio leading the charge with a downright blistering pace and obscene power. "Swampert, Shaymin, get ready to attack with Waterfall and Seed Flare when the others create an opening!" "Shay hay, PPPERT!" They braced themselves and Renny observed the battlefield and their formation with antipation. Then Muon got started and Renny watched intently with a downright shocked and awed expression, feeling rather heated and red in the face. --------------------------------- New Formation: [Alice] [Donovan][Impact] [Articuno] [Zapdos] [Xatu] [Alakazam] [Ursaring] [Hariyama] [Sakuya RDPA] [Silk] [Jumpluff] [Shiftry] [Mio] [Rage Shower Device] CCC members > [Kyogre] [Jeanette] [Vaporeon] [Jellicent] [Muon] [Shaymin] [Swampert] [Lapras] [Latias] [Takano] Everyone from Alice to Shiftry has Reflect and Light Screen (Last Turn) and Mio has Reflect (Last Turn for this protection). Donovan and Twiloch (towards the end of turn 3)
The sound of Delstus dying became more coherent as the sandstorm faded, the classic sound of battle that Donovan knew too well (well, maybe not the Delstus dying noises). He gave little heed to it, listening for orders regarding him while he continued his conversation with the very out-of-place shadow next to him. "Hm, someone without a home that chose a home here. That makes two of us. Looking at how these guys operate, I understand your choice. But I'll ask now that most everyone else is occupied. I'm keying in that some of the people here have some personal motives with the organization that they don't seem open to sharing. Have you ever noticed anything or should it even be a concern?" Donovan listened to Twiloch's response, and right after he heard Krunder's voice booming across the beach. He listened closely, realizing that he'd need to hit PATCA's database when they got back to HQ so he could understand what Krunder was talking about. And then he saw Krunder climbing out of the crater left by an earthquake attack. |

Pierce sighed exasperatedly. He did not like that the Aqkuaw turned out to be quite resistant to his attack. Still, bigger troubles. Lathiron was charging up some kind of attack, and it was sure to hurt like a bitch. He didn't think anyone except maybe Nyoka had the firepower to take it down, either. The problem was there were still five more Lathirons to deal with, so Nyoka had to be kept in reserve for now.
He looked down at the floor of the ship, thinking hard on a solution. Then it hit him. They needed something big. "Admiral Brunswick!" He called over comms. "I need you to hit Lathiron with the ship. It's charging up some kind of big attack, and bumping it with the ship should be enough to distract it. Can you do it?" With that taken care of, he quickly formed a plan of attack. "Irene, use Balor's Acid Spray, see if that does anything to the slime that provides Lathiron's second set of HP. Evangaleen, take out another Skuldrur. Matthias and I will take out the last one. Everyone else, pile it on Lathiron!" And heaving the large scythe over his shoulder, Pierce charged for the Skuldrur. Not too shabby. -------------------------------------------- [Targetting Beacon] [Unownaut] [Irene] [Balor] [Spitz] [Pike] [Hydreigon (Capstan* A)] [Sophia (Capstan B)] [Giratina] [Musharna (Eaten)] [Pierce] [Metagross] [Quiksilver] [Ferrothorn] [Sceptile] [Leprihare] [Matthias] Order Phase Action: 1: Brunswick: Bump Ship into Lathiron! 2: Evangaleen: Sniper Action “KILLSHOT” on Skuldrur E.
