I did a lot of posting on here as a teenager, and I was pretty awful. Even after I learned, grew up, and came to be on the right side of a lot of important issues, I was still angry, abrasive, and generally increased the amount of hate in the world, in pretty unacceptable ways. On the off chance that someone is taking a trip down memory lane looking through those old threads, I wanted to devote my signature to say directly to you, I'm sorry. Most people root for the iguana or whatever the fuck it is, but as a Snek, it is my sacred and holy responsibility to root for the Sneks, who are clearly the Wile E. Coyote-style protagonists of this story.
I mean, think about it this way. The newborn baby Iguana is abandoned by his parents and his community on the beach below, left as a sacrifice to the Sneks. They're capitalists! They're all about the profit motive and they probably read Ayn Rand religiously. Meanwhile, the Sneks work together as a society to try to catch that foo'. They are true socialists with a genuine understanding of what it means to work together. They'd probably vote for Bernie Sanders and they came up with a damn meticulous plan to catch that jerk. The Sneks are a metaphor for my time at NPF because, like them, I methodically engineer beautiful works of art with my Snekwalls, only to discover they're utterly worthless
