And on the subject of Hadokens, Black Mage seems to be Hadokenless since about episode 544, when he destroyed the orphanage barge (I'm pretty sure, unless there's an indirect mention to Hadoken-ing somewhere in between then and the most recent episode).

I can imagine a time when the light warriors are out of tricks, twinks, muscle and theivery to defeat an enemy, and the Black Mage rises and pulls out the second Hadoken.

The problem is, the sheer glory of such an event would be marred by the fact that, by my own mental math, a second hadoken within a day would, in fact, siphon away exponentially more love from the universe than the first one, if not the full remainder.

So instead of celebrating final victory, everyone would kill each other.

Also, Black Mage could have used the Hadoken about 14 times between the last comic and this one. But I hope he has the one for today handy.

The comic has been skipping ahead of many things. Presumably, the leaps ahead in time were only until they got to the much anticipated CoO. And reading it over a second time, it does seem that RM's remark was a little uncalled for. BM was actually behaving.

And I always invisioned the castle to be much much taller.

Damn, I thought we'd get to see our warriors adventuring. I miss their adventuring. Like the time they were searching for Pravoka, and they ran into that creep, and then Thief and Red Mage were having a bet on how long Black Mage would look at his shoes, while Black Belt was being devoured, and Fighter was suffocating. It's moments like those that are more special than the actual plot-advancing events.
