That makes perfect sense NOW but how can I be expected to believe our forefathers thought this way?
Weren't these the same guys who kept women barefoot in the kitchen, saw Indiands as more like animals then humans, and made a booming economy out of the slave-trade??? Therfore were right back at square one because these guys completely LIED.. I feel people are equal up untill a point of "choosing" to be infirior. Say illegal aliens, I feel sorry for them, they want to get hear so badly, they love this country, and I think it's disgusting how we shun them. Let them come, embrace them, and they'll be loyal, working class citizens. If we need to make room let's deport those damn pinkos who call The American Goverment savages and think a fetus is like a gummi-bear. Then we'll not only have more "room", but we'll have more job oppurtunity's and needs for employment. This is where everyone gets an equal oppurtunity, and everybody is happy. What to do with the liberals? Send them to Cuba or something. Then they'll realize how good they had it.. mwahah.. Anyway, as that plan proved. Choice to me is what dictates someone's worth. When you choose to become infirior, you do, there are choices you can make to become equal again too. But all men are inheritly equal.. It just go's without saying rapists and crackheads don't get the same basic rights we do..

CC, interesting... kinda.. post.
But: "they love this country," About illegal immigrants, how many have you talked to that have said "I love America", or "I love the jobs I get here in America"? I mean, are they here because we're simply a great place to be, or simply because they make more money here (or are those two reasons the same?) Basically, I'm asking, do they love the country, or the money?

Well, one could argue the money/oppurtunity not so much the country. But we ARE the land of oppurtunity. That's what we're known for..
Besides, most immigrants become janitors, groundskeepers, or some other blue collar job.. So they hardly have much money to love.. But they enjoy this country cause after living on a dirt farm in Mexico, they realize here there's just so much to be thankful for. From the things you can do, to the things you don't have to do..
