Gender: Male

Appearance: He stand about 5'8 and he has Black hair, and green eyes, he also has a scare that goes right from the top of his face and it goes straight down his face. He likes to use his fist when battling.

Bio: He was abanded as a kid in the city of Ankh-Morpork. He taught him stuff how to defend him self, and how to get food for him self. well one day while walking around the city of Ankh-Morpork he stumbled across a poster saying that states that the watch is hireing people to help defend the city. James having nothing better to do and since he needs the money he decides to go join up.

Edited: I changed my charcter, and yes Vergil that old one was just a joke, but this is the real thing.

Wow, I hope this is a joke, because that character manages to give new and sadder meaning to the phrase "frighteningly retarded."

No. No. No. There is no blaster "pistle", firstly because "pistle" is not a word, and secondly because the Disc is not a fucking sci-fi world.

This week has suddenly exploded with Real-Life business (teh suk!) so my character sign up will be late. Expect it soon, though..

ALSO: I just realized that I'm not entirely familiar with the ranks involved in police forces, so if anyone could help me out with this, I'd be grateful.

I think the lowest rank is Lance Constable (reading Men At Arms), next one could probably be constable, then corporal (Nobby) and then Sergeant (Carrot?), Captain (what vimes used to be) and then Commander (what Vimes is now.

Carrot's a captain now. Fred Colon's a sergeant. Nobby is and will always be a Corporal. Dorfl's a constable, IIRC. Angua's a sergeant. Vimes is... increasingly distanced from street work, but is a commander, yes.
