Moving on.

I really don't have an interest in shows like House or Numbers (I refuse to write that silly name!), I mean, I have a crazy enough life as is. I just want some massive energy blasts, and a few God-wannabes, not doctors and such.

Is that too much to ask?

Besides, with sci-fi shows, I can suspend my disbelife, and not scream at every mistake they make. ^.^;;

What, and you leave out Joe Flanigan? Helllllo?

Anyhow, I actually started watching Dr. Who because Fencer said it sounded cool. And it's on when Stargate: Atlantis would normally be on. That and I love all that British humour stuff. I haven't been disappointed so far. Well, except that the girl is really stupid. I can't stand Rose.

And I like House and Numbers. So there. :-p

Brian, how'd you get BBC? Yer a Floridian.
If you have Dish Network, you can get BBC America, which I imagine is almost as good.

I'm liking the new series so far. They're not as good as the ol' Tom Baker era episodes, but they're pretty fun. I'm glad they kept the original theme song.

I can't wait to see how the new series handles the Daleks. Those things were so stupid, you had to love them. I mean, GARBAGE CANS OF DOOM with the power to destroy all life as long as they don't have to go up staircases in order to do it!

And I agree about Rose: She's annoying. Before every adventure, she has to go on some moral or philosophical rant. That gets really old really fast. But I have to admit that she's better than Sarah Jane.

All I have to say is you'll love the whole second have of the season (Series?) then....
And yes, the staircase issue DOES get addressed...
Thats not too much of a spoiler to be put in the "Spoiler Tags" now, is it?

Stargate SG-1 is not a Sci-Fi original (though Stargate: Atlantis is). Sci-Fi bought it off of Showtime a ways back. It's okay, but I can only watch a few episodes every once in a while.

My knowledge of random TV crap saddens me....

The way the relationship between staircases and Daleks was adressed kind of disappointed me. I'm a firm believer in the idea that Daleks, upon encountering stairs, would demolish the building containing said stairs.

I enjoy it though, and it's the only place where I can find new episodes of it.

SG-1 FTW!

Joe boy is the flakey crust upon my heart that prevents me from trying to abduct Teyla. :P

Not really. They used to have pretty good programming, like the Casa Nuklear household favorite Jonathan Creek, but now it's mostly HGTV with English accents. There's only so much Alan Titchmarsh a body can take.

Aaanyway. Rose gets better, y'all will see. Have they shown the Victorian-zombies-with-extra-Charles-Dickens-action episode yet?

Yeah, it was just on on Friday (3/24). Someone here was complaining that it was too Marvel-ish. The history major in me loved it though. The actor who played Charles Dickens looked really familiar to me. Anybody know who it was? The end credits are like miniscule.
