Come on, it's Doctor Who. Why would they kill off their most identifiable (and profitable) antagonists in the sixth episode of the series?
Or is that American television I'm thinking of? |

Nah, they'll be back. I'm sure of it.
Well, I'm planning on getting the DVDs when they come out. Entire first season, you say? Dr. Who Marathon!

But, apparently, Doctor Who's producers care about the fanbase enough to go through that. Nice guys.

Man, I love the daleks! OK, so this one was a semi-emo-y dalek towards the end, but still! Daleks! Funniest 'master race' in the known universe!! And it only took them fifty years to develop 'stair-climbing' technology. XD
EX-TER-MIN-ATE-THE-DOC-TOR!! Gotta love that voice.

The new season started the other night in the UK and for our, uh, technologically sophisticated friends elsewhere. Is there enough interest from these parties to warrant making a thread especially for discussion of the new season, so that the folks who're only now seeing the "first" season on Sci-Fi won't be spoiled? Especially considering that they don't seem to know about A Certain Big Thing happening.
Edit: also I love Jackie to little over-bleached, mutton-dressed-as-lamb pieces and often find her more sympathetic than "oh hay guys I'm going to run away with this controlling older man I met in a disaster last week and not ever leave you a note or anything because OH MAN MAGICAL SPACE PHONEBOOTH 'kay bye" Rose.

what bi- oh, that. That's probably a good idea so these poor unfortuanates don't find out the whole human race became extinct when earth explodes. Wait, that was the second episode. You mean the Big thing that happened at the end of the series. Well, I'm all for takeing pity on people I can gloat over behind their backs.

Watching the episode tonight made me want to watch Shaun of the Dead again. Then again, Simon Pegg kicks ass.

Easy. Punishment, for being a total idiot who fails to think of the consequences of his actions.
