Uhm, I hate to break it to you, but that's just me being creative. There is no guarantee that the adult Onion Kid will ever see the light of day. See, I occasionally make sprites that just never get used... Ever. I try not to let it break my spirit, but...

Anyway, there's a number of sprites like that I've got kicking around. I mean have we seen the neat Titan sprite I created, I think not!

Good. Still liked the unholy albino chocobo abomination better though. When I think about it...to create his golden chocobo, has Red Mage rivaled Black Mage in sheer cruelty?

Ack! Dear God no, Red's always had this level of cruelty. Besides, for him, the world is an MMORPG. Just like for BM, the world doesn't matter; for Fighter, the world is a fantasy world where Optimus Prime can show up at any moment; and for Thief, the world should be ruled by elves. Really, the characters all have different world views that make whatever they do to anyone besides themselves a mute point. So technically, nobody can get a higher level of cruelty.

and it was a hope that the adult sprite would be used... I mean, who would pass up the opportunity to make Onion Kid adult if they had the sprite? Not me. and it's been hinting that the Onion Kid should be a kind of main character since BM killed him and stuffed him into the trash. He's appeared often, and has had whole comics about him.
I wonder what kind of a role he would be in if he were to actually be a main character.. even if it's far off.
