Here's one

Elite Space Pirate (Super Metorid) vs Neo Heartless (KH2)

I have to go with the Space Pirate. They can punch, ninja kick and shoot lasers from their hands. Neo heartless, sink into ground and claw.

Heartless wins because they can only be hurt by magic or magic weapons (notice in the original KH in the end of the beginning when they are attacking and you have a wooden sword you can't hurt them?). Sure it would take a long time, but eventually the space pirate would tire and the heartless would whittle away it's life.

I was being facetious; I thought that was obvious. I was mainly thinking of what I saw of them up at the Whirlwind Maze, which was less than stunning. C'mon, I could probably control their minds if I tried.

The only BoF I haven't played.

Also: Heartless CAN be killed by non-magical weapons. Near the end Sora loses his keyblade to Riku and has to fight with a wooden sword. You can kill them, it just takes about ten times as long.

However, in the beginning you literally couldn't.

So it takes either magical items or strength the likes of which space pirates don't really have--so the outcome is the same.

Cloud, Leon, Yuffie, and Tifa all killed heartless.

For Fou-Lu vs. Sephiroth, I'm going to go with Fou-Lu, but only because I can't remember the story or any events from BoF4, but dragons are capable of destroying the world with their own power (Sephiroth needed meteor).

Sephiroth didn't want to destroy the world. He was wounding it so he could absorb the energy that would flow over to fix the wound. He can destroy the world (Example: Supernova), but he lacked a spell that wouldn't completely destroy it.
