So.... general stuff about me: I'm obviously your typical sci-fi/fantasy nerd. I DM an ongoing Dungeons & Dragons campaign and I have an unhealthy infatuation with comic books (I grew up with the X-Men but in recent years I've branched out, even as far as the Distinguished Competition.) I own the entirety Cowboy Bebop, Trigun and both seasons of Big O on DVD and I'm working on getting all of Samurai Champloo. I regularly watch Adult Swim, my favorite shows being The Boondocks, Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Full Metal Alchemist. I enjoy Naruto and One Piece manga (but I'm only up to vol. 8 cuz I buy them regularly like a sucker), and I read all of Bleach though I didn't like it as much....

Weirdly enough, I don't actually like video games all that much. I've got a few on my computer (just the ubiquitous Blizzard RTS/RPGs), but I don't play those regularly and I've never once owned any kind of console. (I guess that begs the question what I'm doing HERE, but 8-Bit owns even if you've never played FFI, I think.)

Beyond general nerd-dom, my favorite subjects are History and English. I've studied a lot of historical eras independantly. I wouldn't call myself an expert on anything, but I could at least have a conversation with someone who was knowledgeable in classical, medieval or imperial era history. I try to keep myself reading at least one work of "fine" literature at any given time, and my favorite authors are Franz Kafka and Fyodor Dostoevsky.

I'm a very in-depth person, but it would definitely be a stretch to call me smart. I have very little attention span and tend to appear really mean.. but really, I don't take anything seriously. I'm currently working on a look-alike to 8BT, except it's much more hi-quality in graphics than 8BT and it's much more serious at times, and hopefully going to be done in flash. Called "Subliminal Catastrophe". People have called me smart, but I am not always so. I do have quite a few brain farts everynow and then. (Heh, I said fart.) I am a funny type of guy sometimes, and quite random, but can be serious when necessary. I have an extreme dislike of n00bs and txt tlkrs on forums, and people who act like morons in real life. I have recently picked up spriting in 8 bit. I like video games, and I am in a Monopoly Club founded by my friend Adam at school. (Seriously.) I'm a nerd like anyone else who comes to these forums. A friend of mine told me about 8-bit about three months ago, when I was scribbling down some plot events i wanted to put in my book because the teacher left the classroom during the test we were taking. So i scribbled down the website address my friend gave me in my notebook, and when I got home and started reading the comic, I instantly fell in love with it. Now I come back during every update.
