I think that the fifth movie is also supposed to come out that month, but I don't know which day specifically.

Naah, Snape is neither good nor evil, he's gray.
Deathly Hallows comes out on July 21st. Order of the Phoenix (THE MOVIE!) comes out exactly the Saturday before that, July 14th. |

Someone at my school actually has a pirated copy of the book on her computer. I really want to get her to send it to me, not particularly because I'm a huge fan, more to ruin the book for people before it even comes out. In any case, you might want to think twice before highlighting any spoilers I post in this thread, though I doubt I'd do anything here.

Anyways, in some completely unrelated news, there's an authentic looking fan-written fake circulating around the net. Just so everyone knows.

From what I can tell, her family knows someone that has something to do with the publishers, or something. Before anyone else asks, even if I do get it, theres no way I'll be distributing this accross the net. I don't want to be taken out by Rowling's secret police.

I have faith that the book's going to do just what I said, then completely blindside me with a much more surprising ending. Rowling's alot better than I give her credit and I hope she's got something up her sleeve.

Spoilers all up in here, especially about book 6.
Snape ISN'T evil. He is bitter and really doesn't like HP. But I'm pretty sure he hates Voldemort more. Why? I don't have any concrete evidence I can remember, but I'm going back through the series now, trying to find it. Ex: Snape SAVES Harry's life. Remember the countercurse from book 1? Of course. But that was to pay back a debt. But Snape wouldn't care about that if he was evil. At most, Snape is a villain with honor. A weird, twisted honor, but there nonetheless. spoiler Why didn't Snape do more to Harry as he tried to escape? "Because Voldemort said he wanted to kill Harry, lol". Uh huh. So, why didn't Snape severely wound Harry? All he did was say, "You're not ready to face Voldemort in your current shape." Gee, how helpful. No, I'm being serious. end spoiler But I swear, if the ending is spoiled like the ending of book 6 was, I'm going to be.... beside myself with anger. I mean, I'm sure I'm not the only one who saw... Well, you know. **** killed **** The Wandering God |

Is this thread about anything specific Potter-wise, or just randomness? Regardless, I have picked up some pretty important tidbits regarding HP...
Dumbledore's Brother is the Barman at the Hog's Head. Note how he's usually described as looking a bit like Dumbledore, plus the very veiled hint that he smells of goats. (Think back to that illegal charm Dumbledore mentioned). The other thing I've picked up is RAB stands for Regulus A Black, something you might have guessed on your own, but regardless... SWB

Rowling also discredited the RAB theory as being related to Serius Black.
