Have they made a Zelda timeline segment since Twilight Princess was released? Z:TP gives a second Ganon origin story which is completely inconsistent with OOT, but matches the backstory of LttP much better than does OOT. I'd like to know what they think of that.

I can officially confirm this is indeed fake. Zelda is not now nor will it ever be futuristic.

While I definitely love this video and the way it's put together, I also loathe it. You have -no- idea how much of an unintentional headache this has caused. I myself have recieved quite a few calls about this. Some people even demand that it is coming out and we're hiding it from them....

You guys might all love games, but I have people call that are so obsessed that this video would drive them hot with passion... And when we dump water on it, guess where the smoke goes?

Anywho, it's a cool concept but it's not real.

Well then Tyr, get on your superior's asses and tell 'em NPF desires a new game title resembling Zelda, but in a post modern, fantasy realm that incorperates good storyline, puzzles and 3rd person swordplay... and boomerangs...

That game exists... We call it Red Steel

And we have the futuristic version as well. We call that one Metroid.

Nah, Red Steel doesn't have the fantasy aspect, like hunting dragons through a slum with the master sword and a grenade launcher. Metroid while awesome is also a sci-fi adventure game, it misses the whole fantasy bit.

I will venture a guess that if Nintendo were to make a future Zelda, the geeks of the world will burn Nintendo HQ to the ground.

Besides that vid was very reminiscent of KOTOR.

Even better, make Ganon the leader of a Hyrule mafia, constantly sending lackeys to hinder Links attempts to stop Ganon from eventually financially estroying Triforce, Inc., thus allowing him to steal the the triforce(s).
