I didn't say that he couldn't create more than one sphere, I said it would be expensive (also, don't quick changes in pressure create loud noises). In your system, you would have to use a generic pressure-change spell that would be expensive and would have to be cast five times. In mine, you could specificly tailor the spell to meet your current needs.

Magic is a hard thing to explain...
Since We are playing on a forum, I made the system that'll only help Me explain how things work if You'll ask, but it's based mostly on My common sense. I didn't made a whole set of stuff, I just add things "on the way", making sure that it fits what I came up with earlier. Of course I've got something to base on(a different project I work on), but I don't want to create all the things before I'll need them, And even if I have made something I could tell You about, I don't know if You'll act in a way I expect, and therefore don't want to talk about something that might not even be used.

Ok, I get that the magic might be complicated, and I have no wish for every little thing to be laid out, however, I think it would be beneficial if we at least had a basic idea of how things work instead of 'asking as we go' for every little thing. Can a mage only cast a spell so many times per day, or do spells have defined MP uses and can be used as long as there's some MP left? Are casting times instantaneous? Do they require line of sight? Can a guy like me, no mage-hunting cred to speak of, go toe-to-toe with a magic user?

If you want this all to be hashed out inside the RP that's fine, I just like heading into things knowing at least something about the system.

You can cast whatever You want till You got enough MP.
Cast time varies basing on effect and method.
A non mage-hunter character usually can't fight a mage toe-to-toe, as well as a mage-hunter can hardly fight a non mage, but a non mage isn't limited by mana, and usually has other skills that can be useful.
Mages have a great power, but have to keep it for "special" occasions.
There are no certain spell costs or even certain spells, the entire magic system bases on MY common sense, as it wouldn't feel fair to limit You with spells that may not suit Your needs, cost is based on what I find fair with Myself and other players. :p

"assassination target" is someone You've been paid to kill.
And don't count on that it's enough that a teammate gives You a coin for killing a random enemy. You are supposed to do stuff in public.
