Grand Master Kickface is so pumped up.

It was hard because you had to check every room at every water level for each step of the dungeon. And because of the multi-layer structure of the temple, even with the map it was hard to tell if you had been to a room with a specific water level before. This was made even more aggravating by respawning enemies as well as having to go into your menu constantly to equip or remove the Iron Boots.

I agree with most of the previous opinions on franchises and I have one more to add... Star Fox.

Dear Nintendo,

It has come to my realization that you really don't fucking care about the Star Fox series anymore. In the beginning, we had Star Fox on the SNES and that was a pretty decent game. Improvements could have been made, but needless to say, I liked it. Then, you said, "But wait! There's more!" and then you gave us Star Fox 64, a game which, in my humble opinion, was one of the greatest damn games ever on the N64. To this very day, I still replay that game from time to time. And so I thought, "Ah! Yet another great series by Nintendo at last!".... but sadly I would change my mind with the advent of the next game in the series: Star Fox Adventures. To put it bluntly, it blows. Here's a suggestion: when you make a game with "Star Fox" on the box, gamers are not expecting fucking on-foot collectathons with fucking dinosaurs and no Arwings in sight. To say the least, I was disappointed, but I had hope! "Nintendo will soon redeem themselves and Star Fox will go back to the good ol' days." And it seemed that would come true when Star Fox Assault came out. Although you left it to Namco, I trusted that I would be relieved of the sour taste of Adventures still lingering in my mouth and this game would have fulfilled that trust. But notice that I used "would" and you wanna know why? Cause the game was TOO. FUCKING. SHORT. Hey a linear, 10-mission game wasn't very satisfying! What a surprise! I was fuming. How could such a grave error be left to mar an otherwise good game? I was at my last reserves of patience, waiting, praying that you would swoop in and make everything better again. That was until Command came out, YOU FUCKING LAZY BASTARDS! I actually invested some hope in this game and what I got was a shitfest of kill X amount of somethings or go through the hoops or go through the hoops will shooting down a missile or go through the hoops and kill god knows what that fucking thing was again... and again... and AGAIN! But I will go no further as I am already feeling nauseous. In summary, I have given up on Star Fox and you all should feel ashamed with yourselves for effectively killing a franchise that had some potential. Enclosed in this envelope is a piece of dog crap that I happened to find in the front yard yesterday as one final, constructive criticism of your rape of the Star Fox series.

Sincerely,
bananarama

Water Temple from OoT wasnt hard, it was just shitty. It was pretty much just a huge pain in the ass, it was way longer then it needed to be, and it wasnt fun at all. The water level puzzle sucked hard.

THANK YOU bananarama.

Thank you.

I'd also like to mention the Pokemon Stadium series of games. This includes Stadium, the Colloseum games, and yes, you too Pokemon Battle Revolution.

Honestly, the first Stadium game was golden. You had your pokemon, these guys had theres, and you could whop the fuck out of them three ways to forever with your awsome team with big, 3D effects and exploding stuff.

BUt also..MINIGAMES! And a somewhat story! And a path you could follow and all sorts of alternate methods of play. It was very well constructed overall.

The second game was a whole new set of minigames with new opponents and awsome sauce coming out of everything. It was downright awsome in every way. Effects were ramped up, the Minigames were new and challenging, the modes of gameplay was expanded on, and you even had the chance for a legendary showdown with Dr Doo-I mean Mewtwo.

But then Colloseeum came out and I have to say I was dissapointed. When what I consider an "add on" game has more story elements than the actual game it's bassed on assisting I get annoyed.

But it was worse in Battle Revolution. No minigames at all, and the whole thing was just you at an amusement park/island thing. It felt downright unfinished. Also, the different modes of play ranged from somewhat enguaging to FUCKING ANNOYING AND POINTLESS AND RAWR!

My Arceus was I let down. Though the DS wireless battles are awsome and the new effects are nice, and I'm glad we got that if nothing else, alot of it just seems...incompleted.

I would call that annoying, not hard. Besides, not many people realise this, but there are hookshot/longshot targets in almost every level you can access without manipulating the water.

To be fair to Mario, I couldn't even beat Super Mario Sunshine after I got like thirty stars or something so unless Galaxy is easier than that, I would still find it hard. That's probably just me and platformers, though. Those stupid bottomless pit stages, I just couldn't beat half of them.

I kind of agree with you guys on GTA but the varied mission objectives in San Andreas kind of made up for the linearity. If they can strike a happy medium with GTA IV I'll be very happy. I really do agree that GTA III had a nice idea with having such basic mission objectives repeated over and over, BUT you could pretty much approach it however you wanted. This is not true in San Andreas, you have to do it the way the game wants it 99% of the time.

You know what Nintendo should do is launch a separate line called "Hard Ass Fucking Platform Games For Adults Who Crave That Old Masochistic Thrill."

They could start with "New Holy Shit This Game Is Hard As Fuck Mario Brothers", then go on and do "Holy Son Of A Bitch Playing This Version of Punch-Out Is Like Having Mike Tyson Actually Punch You In The Dick," and then after that they could re-release the original Battletoads with no alterations whatsoever.

Motherfucking snakes level I swear to God.
Nah all they need to do is rerelease Silver Surfer. Each of the 6 levels could be a seperate game cause it takes about as long to complete each one. I completed 2 levels when I was a kid. I was a fucking gaming god, though it really became how much of the level you could remember.
