Not really, there is no accepted norm for that. Some lynchers (Drunkards specifically) target a random person each day. Others have one person as chosen by the GM. It could even be a mafiate I suppose.

You can say that about most any claim.

The next day he just says "Oh, Person X is Blah-blah Town aligned, right?"

And then Person X goes "Yup, he's right!" And that is dangeous because it will validate two town claims even though they are scum without any real concrete evidence (i.e. deathpost) to back this up.

If SC were to not get lynched for a while, somehow, he would still eventually be NKed, because SKs/other mafias want to kill POs as well as mafiates. So since he probably will die at some point, if SC wants to hand us another scum, I have zero problem with that. Except that killing SC today gives us some awesome targets tomorrow.

Letting him live one more day tells us nothing, killing him today tells us nothing (when it involves living people). Because anyone who could be acting like scum could also be a cautionary townie.

I'd say any town-aligned player with info like that would always want to come forward immediately, regardless of their usual playstyle.

Thats what worries me. We don't know if he is town aligned. And for all we know, he himself could be of the mafia, and have all this inside information, selling out one or two of his mafiate buds down the river, and still come off clean from this even if they both turn up town aligned.
