Wario is lots of fun, and he's strange. He kind of reminds me of Lucario, in that they changed the physics so much for one character that he ends up as a wholly new and unique character.
I mean he's got Jigglypuff's air-maneuverability but not her jumps and WAY better attacks. It's strange but great.

I am very sorry, MG, that I had to bring this up again, but it is my personal belief that I should never allow myself to be insulted without response. Moving on... I think Wario's a fun character. He's heavyish but not too heavy and he has a very nice speed move on his bike. Sonic doesn't feel too fleshed out to me, but Snake is absurdly so and they've found all kinds of cool tricks you can pull with him.

This looks like the PERFECT time to change the subject without continuing that argument. Seriously. Before Fifth or Shiney show up.
This game has, more than any other, brought me disappointment with Nintendo for ruining what was very close to being a beautiful thing. I am wholly satisfied with the game itself, and the multiplayer is everything I expected and more. Until you try to play on Wi-Fi. Then the poor online hits you so hard that Miyamoto might as well have walked into your house himself and kicked you in the balls. |

As much as I hate agreeing with Megaman FTW, playing Mario Kart Wii online has convinced me that the lag in Brawl is the code's fault and not really Nintendo's servers. The powers that be should really patch this somehow.
Hell, Nintendo could release Super Smash Bros. Brawl 1.5 with a few little touches to the gameplay mechanics, one or two new characters, and a fixed online. That would garner them another millions of copies sold and the redemption their online needs. |

Making it happen.

I dunno, I find Falcon Punch to be pretty effective online.
Then again, it's four-player free for all, and I've had years of practice in Melee (the only thing Brawl did with the Punch was give me more varied angles to attack from with it).

I've never used Falcon Punch, but the rare instances you can get away with a Warlock punch is gold and always makes me laugh.

Warlock Punch and Falcon PUNCH!!!1 are perfect for free-for-alls. While everyone's hitting eachother you jump in and use it. Chances are you'll send someone flying and someone else will try to do the same to you for stealing his kill.

Just as a note: Whenever I refer to in-game uses, I'm almost always talking 1v1.
Having said thus, Falcon Paunch and Warlock Punch are downright useless except for edgeguarding, and even then you've got the Thunder Stomp Dair. Even in FFA if you're playing against talented people you can almost always count on them running once they see the startup. The chances of hitting increase but they're not stupid.
