It's quite obvious Mr. Clevinger is trying to milk this for all it's worth (well, obvious for anyone who can stretch reality pretty far) could be worse though.

I mean, imagine if he got to the very final 8-bit ever and then made it a pay to view thing or something.....

I like to think that would never happen, but it would be funny even if he said that as a joke just to see everyone explode.

I don't see a problem, really. If you think about it, we got more than 4 times as many pages for comics last week than we usually do.

Of course, it was Atomic Robo, but again, I don't see how that's a bad thing. At least, for those of us who hadn't seen it yet.

Yeah, the idea was to show a "last time on 8-bit" page on a non-update day so it wouldn't get in the way of new content. Now, mind you, I'm trying to put this page together in the middle of a convention while interacting with fans and hijacking a wi-fi signal, so I can't guarantee when it will go live. But, dammit, it will go up Saturday.

And here I thought you were using every possible method conceived by man to delay the ending as much as possible. :p

Is it still supposed to end this year?

Last time there was a long break, Brian provided a link in his news post, I think. And people were still too lazy to look there sometimes, I'm guessing.

We have 4 more months to go, he may have to condense it into a flash animation, and as awesome as that would be, it probably won't happen. Though we're really close to the ending.
