Oh yeah, the mages and fallen are overpowered with their magic... While those weak werewolves are just running around, destroying packs of vampires during their rage.

That being the reason I am going to use a werewolf.

Well if they are available I'd take a fallen. But failing that a vampire.

Their are checks and balances, and I still need to play around with the stats. To try and equalize everything, I may give more or less points to people to create their starting characters, but until I really start to play test everything with dice rolls and stats in front of me, I don't know how overpowered one race will be in relation to another, since every race does have a weakness, and for the most part everyone will know everyone else's weaknesses, they will just need to figure out how best to exploit those weaknesses.

That's the spirit! Sorta... kinda... close enough...

And a new question, is if you are interested in a certain group, to post that as well. If there isn't enough interest in certain groups, I might drop them or alter them to be NPCs instead, and I will know to release the info for groups with a lot of interest first, and maybe hold off on the ones with very little interest, although keep in mind the two primary groups will most likely be the Werewolves and the Vampires.

It does seem that way, no? THen again, considering that "fallen" here refers to fallen ANGELS, and that they once held near-unlimited authority over existence, being able to do a few parlor tricks (in the beginning, at least) is hardly overpowered. Also, vamps and wolves have greatly increased physical prowess, so it kinda evens out.

Mages are even weaker than fallen (in the case of fallen, the blend of flesh and spirit makes the amalgam very tough, able to shrug off bullets and the like like a vampire or werewolf) and their powers must be very subtle... or they die even faster. Paradox is NOT a good thing.

I have work today, so I don't know how soon I can put up the Fallen and Mage info packets, but I hope to deliver by tonight.

And IHMN, I suggest your werewolf carry an Uzi full of incendiary rounds if you do intend to go up against vampires...

No problem. I've been reviewing the Demon Rulebook, since they are one of the most complex groups, having to worry about gathering Faith, True Names, summonings and faith based attacks, and fellow demons destroying them, along with rules for possesing new bodies. Most of the groups follow similar rules, but Fallen will be quite a challange...

Mages will be the other big, complex group, and I plan on covering them next. Factoring in rules for Paradox and how magic and the Quiet works and the like will be long, but useful in the long run.

Werewolves, Vampires, and Hunters will be a walk in the park compared to those two groups...

The automatic weapon is the preferred weapon of choice for dealing with vampire elders, who are usually stronger, faster, and waaaay more badass than most mortal werewolves can ever be. Get in yo car, stick 4 Uzis out the window, then hose that vamp walking down the street with burning lead!

Of course, you have to watch for high-speed manhole covers coming your way...

Man it's going to be fun putting together the powerful NPCs in for this RP... Of course, it will suck if someone got one of those once-in-a-lifetime rolls and wipes them out in one blow...
