IHMN, are you even reading my post anymore? When you tie someone's shoes together, you tie them at the laces. Laces aren't usually me of leather, but that's besides the point. Beetlejuice could find some way to bind Yusuke's legs together which would cause him to trip into the open door.

Or BJ could just bring an anvil out of nowhere and plant it on Yusuke's head. I mean, Yusuke got killed by a car, so I don't think his DBZ-like abilities are really DBZ-like...and have we ever seen Yusuke hit by a car since the first episode? No.

Ahhh, there's nothing like the feel of three tons of steel with 250 HP hitting you at 40 MPH...

Actually, the blade catching was when they were getting ready to go to the dark tournament. He never used his blade on Yusuke the first time they fought.

Edit: He was no stronger than a human at that point. It was the first episode before he even gained the ability to use his spirit powers. And Toguro's punches are FAR stronger than a car. Unless you think a car going forty miles per hour is going to leave a, I'm estimating, probably a bit low, 20 foot diameter crater in the ground, Yusuke could EASILY survive that now.

Yusuke got hit by a car when he was a human. Since then he's gotten spirit powers, spent well over six months training in mind, body, and energy attacks, and fighting the most powerful demons anywhere...he can handle a car now...

Before the tournament, that's when Hiei is 'friends' with Yusuke. He was testing Yusuke with a quick slash (Not his fastest).

Also, Otaku, you say I don't read... Krylo said the shoe/leather thing. But what makes you think ripping through shoe laces is so hard for Yusuke?

Yusuke died to a car at the very begining of the series. We aren't using him at the very beginning (Because he was weak). We are using Dark Tournament and up.

Edit - 20 foot diameter hole? Hiei made one that was a third in size, and that was was at least 30 feet in diameter.

I would laugh so hard if I saw Yusuke die to a car this late in the series, really. We don't know if he can take a car or not because we haven't seen him hit by one, since.

But, putting that aside, Beetlejuice runs away from Yusuke's blasts. Or, if Yusuke decides he wants to rush BJ, then BJ plants a anvil in Yusuke's path and an open door to the Netherworld shortly beyond the anvil. Yusuke trips on the anvil(all the power in the world didn't keep him from slipping on the marsh, now did it?) and through the open door, BJ closes it, and makes it disappear.

Though I'll confess I know one thing that Yusuke can do to defeat BJ.

Like I said, probably a bit low. I was using the one Toguro made, and it's been awhile since I saw the episode, so I was being safe and going low. Although, the one Hiei made is a fine example, as well. Yusuke could take a punch from Hiei, thus Yusuke can take a car.

Also, I said the shoe/leather thing because the way the shoe laces are in the shoe, unless the lace is weak, the shoe is likely to rip apart before the laces do.

Yusuke trips, he just grabs the rim of the door and pushes himself back up before going in the door. Then he picks up the anvil and throws it through Beetlejuice.

Yusuke is not a fast-thinker. He'd be falling at the door so quickly he wouldn't know what to do next.

Sure he is. In every fight he's in he comes up with a half-assed strategy to win. He's not as smart as Kurama, not by a long shot, but he's smart. Like reflecting a spirit gun blast off the mirror thing to hit Hiei... or putting a spirit gun blast right into the middle of a tornado punch, and knowing exactly what it would do (the big explosion that might kill him)... etc. etc.
