I have mixed feelings, its one of those items I'll have to see it in play first. Sounds ok but the fact the sentry can lock on and blast away enemies is one of its strong points and it takes away your ability to continually repair it since you'll have to aim it.

But it gets shields and it is more dangerous once fully upgraded.

What I'm seeing from Valve isn't new buildings, but new ways to use them.

I wonder how the other unlock(s) will affect/be affected by the other buildings.

but they still dont solve what people hate most about being engineers, being leashed to your sentry. Or to be more exact to one spot.

There is no way to solve that though, it's the point of the class.
It's just like you can't solve the Pyro needing to set people on fire, the soldier having a rocket launcher or the Heavy moving slowly.

Frontier Justice is a GIGANTIC BOON to offensive engineering. You set down a level one sentry and then start blasting people.

I see the pistol replacement as kinda a boon to the defensive engie. Since you can aim the turret I will assume that this means we can shoot at enemies outside of the detection range of the unmanned sentry. So while you are still chained to your sentry, you can shoot people further out with it.

Everyone don't overlook that they increased the amount of items that can drop for you this week, in case you think you hit your cap.

Also, the page now has ANOTHER reference to Lincoln. Oddly it calls John Wilkes Booth 'John "Tower ----something."

anyone else know this? If you are playing the game it gives you an alert everytime a golden wrench is crafted reguardless of server. Which I know for sure as I was playing walkway so it was just me

Yeah I mentioned it earlier. A whole bit about how I was freaking out because someone was finding one on every server I went to.
