Which is exactly why I said he should be a villian. They're always god moddy, and are allowed their own castles and slaves. Just look at Janus and Grim in the pirate RP. Wiping out a whole city of pirates with no trouble... granted, they don't have their own castles and slaves... but Ciaran did in the FF:RP...

Yeah, but Ciaran took his castle over the cold, dead bodies of his former leaders, where as Vlad got handed his castle on a silver platter. And even with his own castle, Dante almost handed Ciaran his ass proving he was the God-Moddier of the two. So basically, Vlad combines the power of Dante with the Pimpin' Out Powah of Ciaran... *Gasp* Vlad is the Ultimate Villian!

Of course, then the problem is three-fold.
1. Finding a GM that will allow it (Some of the Vets around here like to give other Vets villian roles, but even some of the Vets like to keep a tight reign on their evil...) 2. Finding a story/RP that fits it (Not as big a problem, about 75%-85% of the RPs here are fantasy based... And I just have trouble seeing Vlad in a non-Fantasy environment... But then you still have to find an RP that allows both Mind-Control and Vampires...) 3. Finding a way to balance it (I don't care if it's tinfoil hats or giant Anti-Psychic Generators, but if Vlad stays at full power and/or gets stronger over the RP, he can own everyone's ass. Just turn half the team on the other half, and watch the fireworks. Hell, he could just walk into a town, convert every living being to his control, then sick them on the heros. Basically from the discussions in the Destruction RP, Zalbag was pretty much the only person that could stand up to Vlad long enough to take him down if it had ever come to that, and you said that in the end Zalbag would be the most powerful person in the RP, so not every RP Vlad could be in would have a Zalbag to face off against him...) And yeah, the whole thing was very Deus Ex Machina, but it advanced the plot and was a pretty good battle, so no one complained. I have a card on Deus Ex Machina, I need to scrounge it up... Here it is.

Spirit would probably be crazy enough to allow it. He let me have a wild mage, after all... and do you remember the surge list?
Making houses appear from nothing... slicing up enemies into itty bitty squares... invoking a wish spell in such a way that the next person who says "I wish ____" has that wish granted no matter what it was? Neon hit points!?

I forgot about that (Damn, my memory is crap...). Spirit might just be crazy enough to allow it... And Wild Mage was probably the best class ever just because off all the shit those Surges could cause (Why didn't I save that list? I'll have to hunt it down tomarrow afternoon...)
So if Janus the Planeswalking Mage is out (I remember Spirit's speech about the Ultimate Powah of the Planeswalker, but if he DID allow Vlad, just maybe Janus could sneak by...), I wonder of Magrolion the Wild Mage is in...

A perverted wild-mage, who mastered most of the spells in that book, but is susceptible to wild surges!
