So I'm apparently either the best or worst person in the world depending on who you ask so I'd really like to get a poll on y'alls for how well you think I'm doing at this moderating thing.

I mean when I see posts like this and this and then things like this happen but I get repped for the same things from other people and now I'm just really confused.

So answer me, forum! Am I the worst person or the worstest person?

Also, I think you're just starting to do the burn out thing. After witnessing the PS3 thread and seeing a whole lot of rage, and seeing Marc RageQuit, I thought it was... unwise to provoke him.

I think you're a half-decent moderator (I really do. You've provided me with blackmail material) but I think you should sometimes step back and look at it from an anylit... anilit.... sterile point of view.

Fenris, I've actually given this a lot of thought in the time that Noncon was last banned.

You're not a bag of dicks that is made out of dicks.

In large, in fact, you're a perfectly capable and competent moderator.

But honestly? It seems like you need a vacation. Not in the pejorative or euphamistic sense, an honest to god break where you don't need to worry about moderating or enforcing rules.

And frankly, you and Noncon are like the Tacoma Narrows; it's a bad situation waiting to happen. When I see you two interact what I'm reminded of is the time that shiney and Fifthfiend happened. Without assigning any moral weight or relative responsibility, I think we can all agree that that incident wasn't a bright and glorious moment in our history.

What I want this message to convey is that you absolutely shouldn't beat yourself up over any of your conduct, but what I think you should do is take a well-earned vacation, recharge your batteries, ace an exam, seduce a lady with a trombone, and come back with a tale of a drunken adventure.
