Downplayed PSX Games - Page 2

I agree with Raerlynn on the LOD part. I've heard that LOD 2 is coming soon, and they even have a trailer for it. But my friends won't tell me where it is....

A favorite PSX game of mine is probably FF7. It was the game I loved, played and enjoyed most on my PSX. Oh, the good ol' days of PSX....

yeah fftactics is a great game that is downplayed....

there is also legend of legaia .an rpg that had great gameplay and moves..it is a unique experience...

there is also wild arms 2...the battle graphics are by no means great and money is hard to get in the game but everything else makes up for it..

Who's heard of Azure Dreams? It's in the vein of Harvest Moon where you can pick a girl, fall in love, have a house and stuff. But instead of farming, you raised monsters, fought in a 20 (or was it 100) story building that your father had disappeared into, and basically fought your way higher and higher.

Never played it myself, but I AM gonna find it one day...

Alundra. At least the first one. I haven't played the second one yet, though I am keeping an eye out for it. Also the Lunar games.

Check out my first article on AllRPG for reasons that FF8 was disliked. (http://www.allrpg.com/editorials/ffproblem.php3). I personally thought the game was alright, but I can definitely see the flaws in it.

Downplayed : Little known/little talked about/low-popularity games. NOT FF7...NOT FFt....NOT Chrono Trigger...

I've heard so many people talk bad about Chrono Cross. Ugh. Great game.

LOD2 is a rumor at this point, I mean here it says "Yeah, there's one, we just don't have any proof and I just heard from my brother's cousin who has a subscription to gamepro" and I couldn't find anything in EGM or PSM or anything.

Underrated games....Devil May Cry 2 is a good rental. DMC1 is a great game to play and beat every couple of months. Lufia II (not the first) is great, but little-known. That's about all I can think of.

Seriously though, PE 1 was one of the better RPGs I played. PE2 was crap, though.

Anyway, I second Bushido Blade. That game was unbelievable.

Oh yeah, and Vagrant Story was pretty sweet.
