One is ordinary, run-of-the-mill typical small-scale DC corruption wrapped around moderate, centrist beliefs and a bit of a hawkish military bent but basically the same as Obama, like she's literally just Obama 2.0, complete with a dumb love affair of drones that will result in horrific murders of innocent people in Yemen because even the supposedly decent politicians can be monstrous when it comes to Yemenis and Somalis but she ain't going to destroy the world or anything.

The other is a nuclear winter catastrophe waiting to happen who loves Vladimir Putin, is a self-admitted autocratic dictator wannabe, wants to destroy the First Amendment to stop any possibility of being criticized, wants to shut down the press, wants to forcibly deport millions of families living in this country, wants to ban an entire religion from this country, wants to waste hundreds of millions if not billions of dollars building a wall, has no understanding whatsoever of what the American government is or how government itself is supposed to function, has confessed HIMSELF to MOLESTING AND GROPING WOMEN WITHOUT THEIR CONSENT, oh God why do I even have to type all this bullshit, mocks anyone who is different from him because he's a gigantic fucking Middle School bully in a seventy year old's body, wants to end NATO, terminate our alliances, has no problem whatsoever with foreign nations compromising our national security so long as it benefits him, has the vocabulary and the intellect of a third-grader, failed at the one thing (real-estate businesses) he claims to be a YUGE success story in, is leading a charge of racist bigotry that's sweeping the nation and drastically increasing crimes by whites against ethnic minorities, refused the renounce the KKK until it became clear there would be political repercussions for doing so, has had genuine ties throughout his life to mafia syndicates, refuses to publicize his tax returns because there's something shady as hell buried in there, refuses to even pay taxes despite being a multi-millionaire, wants to erode LGBT marriage equality and bring back 'traditional family values' despite being an adulterer who's confessed to multiple affairs, rates women based solely upon their appearance and refuses to acknowledge them as human beings and peers, supports Syrian dictator Assad and refuses to acknowledge that some Syrian rebels actually ARE NOT involved with fucking ISIS because he has the mental capacity of a drooling two-year-old child, refuses to acknowledge the sanctity of democracy and respect the will of the voters if the voters dare to choose anyone who isn't him, believes that climate change isn't only NOT REAL but is somehow a hoax perpetuated by the Chinese of all people, believes that Twitter is best utilized as a bully pulpit...

Like every other senior citizen around, she fucking was oblivious to how electronic mail worked and might have accidentally sent confidential information to the wrong person at the wrong time? She didn't use her cognitive powers to foretell the future and realize that the State Department and Congress needed to allocate more resources to Benghazi? She made a few political miscalculations, made one egregiously misinformed racist statement in the nineties she's since apologized for, and she's a little bit conniving? She's a little bit manipulative? And that somehow puts her on EQUAL GODDAMN FOOTING with Donald fucking Drumpf, the worst Presidential candidate we'll ever have?

Twitter is garbage, that's a fact and yes, there have been crusades carried out over Twitter in the name of morality, but that is beside the point. As for Hillary? Shes been pretty complicit in her husband's sexual misconduct controversies, going so far as to slander the victims.

Both of them are terrible choices. We don't need either of them. People 'want' one or the other, but it's 'want' in the same way people want cake. You're happy when you get it, but you regret it later when it doesn't work out for you. (*cough*Obamamaderacerelationsworse*cough*)

New unsubstantiated thesis on the election time:

- If Giuliani's right, the Trump campaign was tipped off weeks in advance by disgruntled FBI agents that Comey was going to reintroduce the Clinton e-mail bullshit into public discourse a week or so before the election.

- In addition, it's possible that the FBI, Russian agents with connections to the Trump campaign, or another source entirely with connections to the Trump campaign bugged the DNC headquarters.

- My spin on this: Trump subsequently purposefully tanked the subsequent couple weeks where he was doing terribly in October in hopes that the Democrats would exhaust their oppo research stories on him out of delightful glee that they were running away with the election, and in hopes that Clinton would subsequently waste time campaigning in red states like Arizona, eager to score the blowout win.

(If the bugs are connected to the FBI and/or the Trump campaign, Trump's campaign would've known all the DNC and Clinton campaigns' moves in advance, supporting this approach as plausible. They'd know the DNC was irrationally elated over Trump's awful performances and they'd know when they'd attempt to drop just about every opposition bomb the DNC or the Clinton campaign themselves were responsible for.)

- The DNC and the Clinton campaign played into this perfectly for the FBI and Trump's goonies, shifting campaign strategies in a way that would prove devastating once the FBI played their hand and exhausting any possibility of a last-second oppo research bomb against Trump shifting the race.

- Last Friday, the FBI took everyone by surprise with Comey's idiotic statement regarding the investigation, the Trump campaign knew it was coming and immediately seized on the narrative, while the Clinton campaign had no idea WTF was happening and was humiliated.

- Congratulations, Trump campaign and the FBI: You've rigged the 2016 election!!!

Note: The preceding verbiage is 100% an unsubstantiated conspiracy theory of mine but, given the nature of the two stories that broke today, I'm surprised the mainstream media isn't even trying to follow up on any of this.

The biggest CNN story so far today -- aside from their front-page cover on the election tightening -- was Giuliani changing his story on the FBI and recanting his original claim on Fox News that the Trump campaign were informed weeks in advance of Comey's power play. Which is fascinating: CNN barely bothered to cover the original story, but they'll cover Giuliani covering his ass!!!

This election is so fucking bizarre.

EDIT: Boy, the right wing has done a fantastic job making up so much bullshit about Hillary Clinton that they've tarnished her reputation even among Democrats.
Mind you, there are genuine reasons not to wholeheartedly embrace her or anything, but if nothing else I'll always remember this election as a moment where Hillary became an extremely sympathetic figure in my book because of the sheer amount of exaggerations and full-throated lies she's had slammed against her, and the eagerness of the American public to believe anything whatsoever about her, no matter how unsubstantiated.
It's weird that Bill Clinton -- Hillary's husband, who has done objectively far worse things -- has been so much easier for so many Democrats to forgive. Is it because of his natural charisma? The fact that he was born a man and therefore we're more forgiving of his misdeeds? It's so fuckin' crazy.

I mean, I do think Hillary is worse than Obama and I do think Obama has major flaws and I think not liking Hillary is an incredibly understandable thing especially when we consider that she had the fucking primary skewed in her favor from word go and Bernie was a much preferable candidate. I honestly have nothing against Hillary, just corporate fatcats in general. The Rumor Mill is a hit or miss source of information and media(TV and Online) is becoming more and more untrustworthy. It's starting to go back to the days where the only reliable way to know is to actually have been there yourself.

On the subject of Bill, forgiving because he's a man? No, it's because he's rich, charismatic and powerful. It isn't what you're born 'as', it's what you're born 'with' and what he was born with was a lot of money and charisma. The latter helps to make sure that they don't simply walk away with the former. Just remember, you get what you pay for.

I have no issue whatsoever with legitimate criticism of Hillary, who deserves to be criticized, but so often it just leads down a false equivalency rabbit hole and all the sudden you're talking to people who are convinced that just because she's untrustworthy in a few specific regards she's every bit as awful as Trump in the aggregate, and you just can't have rational discourse with those people.
