Wow. You worship AC, don't you? And that's just the trailer. I think I'm going to very much not like hearing what you have to say when the actual movie comes out. Regardless, I'm assuming, from the reference to the Amazing After-Image Man, that you switched topics from Chun Li to Tifa. Hard to tell, though, because Chun Li has duplicated the exact feat you describe, and the actual sentance structure says that you're still talking about her.

They're both martial artists in top physical condition, capable of amazing feats of dexterity. They're both ridiculously strong. They both possess ridiculously exaggerated anatomies (W00T!!). The deciding factor here comes down to fighting style. Chun Li's kicks are very strong and fast, but her mid, close, and grappling range techniques are weak. Tifa, on the other hand, is best in mid to close range, where the action is much faster. Therefore, Tifa is going to try to close the distance, while Chun Li is going to try to keep her outside arm's reach. The fact is, though, that tactically, kicking attacks, while strong, are slower and easier to read than punching attacks, and since the method of attack is the same as that of locomotion, it slightly hampers mobility as well. Tifa, being an experienced martial artist, will eventually get inside those kicks, and then it's all over. Chun Li will put up a good fight, and Tifa will get pretty beat up in the process I imagine, but she'll still win.

Maybe there will be some mutual clothes-ripping involved, in which case we all win, too.

Well, we have been using two FFVII characters for the last two fights, and the turn based system of FFVII is really bad way to figure out who would win since they just stand there until a little bar fills up then attack once.

If we just went by FFVII, Tifa easily wins since she can survive being stepped on by something half the size of Midgar (Diamond weapon)

The one feat I described Chun-Li has never duplicated. She can jump on walls herself, but not when thrown into them.

Edit - And I forgot to edit she to Tifa are deleting a sentence, opps.

Chun-Li was never thrown into a wall where she then twisted herself around and leapt off the wall in that fight.

since I can't decide between Tifa and Chun-Li, I think I'll make one more:
X6 Zero, maxed out
OOT Link, maxed out
vs
Xtreme 2 Megaman X, maxed out
Paper Mario Mario, maxed out
remember team battle, standard Megaman X way of handling 2 characters (they teleport in/out, one char in, one out waiting to be called back in, once one loses they both lose)
note: I didn't state setups because I believe to each their own, iow, I'm letting you decide their setups
note2: X is maxed out, that means all four pieces of armor, yes I know that a standard tactic for extreme mode is to not get the head part, but he does have the shotokan upgrade this way

Okay, you're right. It wasn't a wall. It was a ceiling rafter. Same general rules apply.

I shouldn't have deleted that movie. What I rememberi s Chun-Li mostly getting beaten by Vega, getting one good hit in the middle of the fight, then got a lighting kick in at the very end and kicked him out of a wall.

Still, Tifa wins.

Black Mamba ( assuming she only has the hanzo katana and no guns) vs. Battosai ( before he became a wussy hippie and had a real sword)

and the whole time the kill bill soundtrack must be playing

No question. Killer battousai, wanderer, or Hiten Mitsirugi master, Kenshin smokes that chop socky throwback. Black Mamba gets tossed around by a 60 lb. schoolgirl with a chain. Kenshin plays with a much larger, stronger, more experienced chain-using assassin for a couple minutes to lure him into revealing his plot, then after he gets what he needs, casually destroys the chain and knocks him out. Even back during the revolution, when he was arguably the least experienced (but tactically at an advantage over his later self, because he was unconcerned with protecting his opponent), Kenshin fought real swordsmen, living at the ragged edge, day after day, and his opponents were of a much, much higher caliber than those Black Mamba faces. For the love of God, Kenshin even fights the Shinsengumi.

The tactics Black Mamba uses in the movies are laughable. The only reason she survives is that her opponents were just as lousy as she is. She's aggressive, but she's a second-rate kenshi at best. Kenshin's got real mastery of his technique, and real experience using a katana agaisnt the very best opponents. As soon as his sword's out of its sheath, the fool's on the ground, and Kenshin's wondering where his real opponent is. Someone at her level isn't even worth the effort to bring out the Revolution's baddest killer.
