I'm not sure what to think about this one. BM obviously feels no remorse for the fact that he sacrificed six orphans to an ancient evil god, and he may not have even realized that WM whould be horrified by learning of it and what powers his Hadoken. I think he was hesitant to use it because he thought it would use the love in the immediate vicinity -that is, any compassion (which is a form of love) WM might feel for him.

I honestly thought that BM might be changing a little, but from what he said, he's still the same guy he always was. Or maybe he was trying to kid. You know, like people do in the aftermath or something horrible, but even if he was, WM's sure to take it the wrong way.

And by the way, WM is ignorant, not stupid. Ignorance is simply not having the information; stupid is either not paying attention to the available information, or not making use of it. She's extremely naive (or was before she met BM, but she still is) and inexperienced. She was sheltered her whole life and probably never even concieved a person such as BM could exist before she met him.

There are several things WM could do. She could conclude that these couldn't possibly be the real Light Warriors and go off alone in search of them. She might lapse into a severe depression without anyone to help her through something like this. She might try as hard as any person possibly could to change BM. Maybe she'll just blast the living shit out of BM with Holy. Or maybe somthing else altogether will happen.

well, I at least would like to see a semblance of a BM/WM get together at least at the end of the series, maybe.

I was under the impression that the joke was that, quite contrary to expectations, BM didn't stab fighter, but simply pried off the stamps.

Granted, it's hardly a shining example of selflessness, but shows that BM is not absolutely and unflinchingly motivated by self-interest (though this is certainly his primary motivation).

She remembers the note. She seems to want to believe that what he is saying is an exaggeration to make him seem more evil than he is. (notice how he has to add some morbid thing to everyting he talks about? Considering the note I dont think he's really serious about any of the really nasty stuff)

The "trying to be funny" thing might also be true. BM doesnt seem to know any other humour than humour revolving around death. Say, maybe the reason he made so many "BB is dead" jokes....was an attempt to cheer them up after losing BB?

Er...BM keeps getting weirder and weirder.

huge turningpoint.. but i still wonder many things..where is :thief: , :fighter: and :rmage: ? did they get blasted like all the way to corneria? should WM hit BM with her hammer o holyness and...when can we see the DW's again YAR!

You know when the subject of BM/WM's relationship comes up, it always seems to focus in on BM, but I have to admit I'm intrigued by WM. I mean, on the surface she mostly considers BM a vile little man, but every now & then, she'll say something or do something that makes me feel like she really *WANTS* to be able to like (love?) BM.

Fer instance when BM & WM first meet, after the pummel fest, he states that he was just trying to get her to join his Light Warrior team. She sas he's cute, and acts pretty nice to him from then on. Then there's the bit in Garland's castle, where she shoves Fighter out of the way and rushes to BM. And while it wasn't love, her overt reaction to BM's letter was a bit too compasionette, IMO.

I know that part of it is that she really wants to reform BM, but could there be any more too it than that?
