Theory: If White Mage just created the universe, and possibly set Fate, then Black Mage also entering that "pocket dimension" (possibly in vain pursuit/rescue of White Mage) could very well create Chaos, and explain the Time Travel elements present in the game, and also make a reasonable (if Time Travel paradoxes were reasonable) theogonical model.

I think WM should be pulled out and not use time travle agian. It's too hard and filled with plot holes.

You are over complicating things.

Consider the little white speck something like a BIG-BANG-BOMB. All WhiteMage did was press the button that activated it. She didn't build it, she doesn't control it's power, and she doesn't control it's ramifications. All she did was beat Sarda to do the verbal command, and since that didn't change the future, it probably had no important ramifications on the time line.

Its also like that episode of Futurama (for some reason, it fits) where Fry, Leela, Bender, Zoidberg, and the Professor go back in time to 1953 when (I dont konw) when the Roswell thing happened, and had sex with his Grandmother, who gave birth to his father to give birth to Fry, so he can go to the Future to go back to the past, and have sex with his grandma (Ow my head)
