Lucerin Red, destroying stealing or tampering with a mailbox is a federal offense I hope you realise. Also you're stupid.

Yeah, that is important to note. Technically, a mailbox is federal property because its used by the United States Postal Service, a branch of the federal government. You can, quite literally, get 2-10 years for destroying a mailbox. It is a felony.
As far as the GGLF......sounds like terrorists to me. |

Yeah I realized that, I'm to a total of 12 different offenses on 27 occasions
And if they are liberating the gnomes, it's more good karma then bad, sure they're stealing, but they're setting them free |

I think a FEW people are taking this a bit too seriously. It's like Ren said. They're serious about their joking. Chances are they know that it's silly, and it's stupid. That doesn't mean they can't devote themselves to it, however.
They're taking this joke to newer and higher levels all the time. It's people like this that really make the world worth living in. I'd much rather read about a bunch of people stealing garden gnomes, or garden gnomes driven to suicide than about everything else that makes the news these days. Also: How do you have 12 offenses on 27 occassions? Did you like do half a mailbox a few times, and a third of a mailbox a few other times?

It's true that this whole gnome-liberation thing is probably just a joke, and I agree that it makes us all feel a little better. Our world is pretty screwed up, and sometimes we all need a little weird humor to lighten our day. ~Dragonsbane. In case you thought someone else was using my account.

The irony of this whole situation though is that in the newspaper articles that I read, they seem to be treating these gnomes with more rights then people in third world countries receive. If these people are so concerned with the rights of these gnomes, even in a joking manner you'd think they could care for a human life more effectively then most. One thing I dislike is a person in society who cannot contribute, even though I just wash dishes, I pay rent and provide in someway a benefit to sciety. I'm saying these people don't other things with their lives, but could they be t least a tad more productive in their spare time?
