I like that Master. If you put a gun to my head and told me to find something wrong with it, I'd say that a few of the outlines are bit too crisp for 3-d perspective. Maybe the helmet/mask is a little too tight. And you can't see the creature in the background through the hole between his arm and body. That's about it. That's very good.

My boyfriend drew this one up yesterday. The outlines are a little bad and bumpy (it was completely done with a mouse) but what do you guys think?

EDIT-> Here is it again with a less obtrusive background and more dynamic lighting.
Clicky.

Added aditional link. Hope that works.

Might as well give some comments:

QueenQ: If I had the time and space (and didn't want to look really creepy), there would be a shrine of your greatness in my room.
CelesJessa: So very cute! That's the most adorable werewolf I've ever seen.

And the recent contributors:
Dante: I don't really get it, therefore, it must be great.
MoM: Love the detail of the creature.

EDIT:
Arlia: Hair clashing with the rest of the piece kinda makes my eyes cross, but otherwise good.

hey MoM, I like the character, but the monster is even cooler. Is it an original creation?

and VA ninja, your links are useless here! I can't access your pictures, but I've seent he ones you posted on deviant art, and I can see incredible improvement with each one, their all good too.

AJ, your bf has some pretty good mouse talnet! That would be really hard to do with a mouse, at least for me. Its a cool hat too, was it based off of a real one?

and CJ, I've never heard of this Oekaki board, it intrigues me greatly! I will have to look into it, thank you!

Ahh...well that sucks. I'll just have to upload twice in the future then *bookmarks Imageshack*

I wonder why the direct links don't work. I've sometimes had the same problem on other boards, but when that happened even I couldn't see it. Weird...

Oh, and thanks for the comments.

EDIT(I've been doing a lot of editing): Check above. I used Imageshack to make him a thumbnail now.

Wow, glad you all like it. And yess, Funka (hee hee, funka. I like the sound of that for some reason) it is original. I was going to do a dragon, but after I drew the basic outline of the head, I realized I didn't know enough about dragons to draw one... so I went with Fluffy.

Now I will attempt to explain my deficiancies with cheap excuses! The mask would...ah... be half open in the back! Yeah, that way he could take it off. I just plain didn't notice the arm thing... and have no excuse for the other thing. Ohs wells.

And for your boyfriend's drawing: done completely with a mouse? I'm impressed. I never can keep the stupid thing steady when I try...

Dante: Not much to say. Too deep for me to completely get it, but I think I got the gist, hopefully. Maybe.

Dante: I don't entirely get it, but it has Death and the artwork for the card oppression so its awesome anyway!

CJ: I've never seen a cuter werewolf.....or a cute werewolf at all. I like.

MoM: I love that creature in the back. I would continue with it.

The mouse has its problems. Instead of the smooth curves it is a series of line segments. He seems to do better work with the mouse though because it's easier to edit the work. "I had to draw the outline around the chin 40 times before I got it halfway right." Can anyone suggest some good hardware I could buy that could let him use a stylus to draw in photoshop?

The character was based off of a sprite from a webcomic. The hat is supposed to be a geomancer's sock hat.

Wacom tablets are all the rage, but they're expensive. But I dunno, if you can afford Photoshop then you can probably afford one of those :P
