Ah, I've been messing around and thinking about re-making me website that I took down so I made this picture that might be a good image for the top of my art website or something like that. I have a few ideas of names for my website:
The Lair of Dreams (old name) Shades of Black Simplicity if anyone likes one of those, just say so. heh I can't quite decide. And here's the picture I drew.

I can barely afford to feed myself, much less buy art supplies. I only buy replacement markers whenever I get a really large paycheck and have a little to burn, so no. 2 and black markers are all I'm gonna use. Last time I actually went for months before I finally bought a replacement black marker. And, like I said, I don't like using mechanical pencils. In fact, I rather hate 'em.
Anyway... that'd make a real nice top art piece for your website, CJ. Maybe you should take your old name and combine it, as in "Dreamlair?" ...Or "Jessicalair?"... >.> <.<

CelesJessa - cool oekaki pix, as usual; as for a website name, how about Darkly Shaded Dreams?
Everyone else - you all suck! Heh, just kidding. It's all good, very much liking the stuff from Grandmaster Sqweeb, tweebus, Zutsujin (the FF drawings in particular), batgirl, Tairu, madhatter, and of course QQ. As for me, I just have to dredge up art I did in high school, as everything I draw now seems more like a diagram and less like a drawing. Anyway...this is a self-portrait I made in 1992 or so. Actually, it's a photo of the portrait. Sadly, the actual art is lost to the sands of time.

akuma is hands down..the shiz. Screw ryu and ken, akuma all the way!
just one little thing stands out to me, his eyes. They seem a tad too bright in the shadow of his brows, i think it'd be more dramatic if you couldn't see his eyes at all. Minor Edit: i had some old pen sketch here the other day, but so i don't double post i have removed it in liue of this finished product!

I prefer Blick, though, 'cause that's where I take classes and I get a nice discount. =D In reference to all your drawings. o.o Holy Crap! I feel so inexperienced now... I'm going to go draw something to get my ego back. Specifically to Zutsu... I can relate to the whole trapped in a style thing. Most of my stuff is quasi-anime these days, it's kind of frustrating. And Skweeb... Don't knock wooden pencils and shading so hard. I'm stuck on mechanicals and I lack all the subtle shades I used to have... Anyway, I'm going to keep shadowing this thread until I get a nice scanner, at least. And some nice image-editing software at best. Till then, I'll be watching... >> << shh

"Burning Inside"
I was looking through this thread and listening to Ministry's Burning Inside when this image popped into my head. And as you can see, he's literally burning inside... O.o I'm not in a bad mood, mind you, I was just skull bored and felt inspired by it. =P |

It's easy to get inspired by songs Zephie. ^^ I do all the time.
![]() Heh. I tried to redo a style of a picture I did a long time ago. It didn't go as well as before. Oh well. It took too long, cranking up a whopping 193 minutes from the time I opened the program to the time I saved it.
