Uwahahaha, I just found out we did indeed get a scanner. Not a very good one... but still. Uwahahaha. Anyway... like two or three... or four year old pictures. All drawn during highschool when I should have been working. Heh. They're all really small... and I have one more to post... but only 5 per message, so I'll wait for someone else to post again, if it's still open... Also, Scan25 was inspired by the female mad scientist from Brian's Nuklear Age book... back when he had the little preview of it on the site. If he doesn't still.

MY2K: Someday I shall think back on your words and agree... For now I cannot help but think "You have forgotten your roots, little man!"
But yeah, you're right. Most TV animation is really simple to draw. It's comics that are difficult. |

No one, just a doodle. Only one of my sketches is based off of anything that actually exists already, and I already mentioned which one that is in the post up above (scan25 = mad scientist from Brian's book). Although I did name most of them... except for the ones that are all drawn on that one sheet of notebook paper (with actual current events quiz notes!). I believe I named that one Alyssra... I'd have to look at the paper though, and I left it downstairs next to the scanner.

Actually, I think anime is as difficult as you make it. I love anime because it's so.... free. You can make it as simple as you wish, or you could make it more complex. I mean, I'm currently working on a picture... I started last night and I'm still not done. There is no way anyone can convice me that is easy. Especially when you're drawing with your mouse, which is what I do almost 90% of the time. (I would use some cool programs... but I have none. ^^;; )
But that's just me. hehe. *shrugs* I have a high respect for all kinds of art, especially anime/manga. ![]() But hey, I dunno. Maybe I'm too defensive. (I know I am. ^^;; hehe) (BTW: merry christmas everyone! (or whatever holiday you celebrate. )

You draw with your mouse? You truly are a goddess... All I get from mouse drawings are chicken scratches and heartache...
Or as Gabe from SF would say, "It's never easy." |

Yeah, I use my mouse. I did get a tablet a year ago, but I don't use it that much. ('cause it won't install on my computer upstairs, which is the computer I do 90% of my drawings on) Plus I just like my mouse when I draw on my computer. ^^; I guess I still have to get used to drawing cleanly with my tablet.
