Eeep! Hand around my waist. Whattodo? whattodo?! Chrysalis thought blindly for a moment when Kiros righted her, then lingered on her hip for a bit. She opted for not noticing, and instead, looked down to what had tripped her.
Odd... I don't recall that stick there, she thought as she noticed the projectile pin on the ground.
"Umm, do you know what that is? It seemed to be in your way before I tripped and blundered into you," she pointed at the pin.

Kiros looked down at it, and, upon recognizing that someone had left a trap laying around, released Chrys's waist to squat down and pick up the offending piece of metal. He then stood back up and held it out, facing slightly away from him, before carefully sliding the trigger in, causing the pin to shoot out of his hands and into the yard, disarmed.

"Just a little toy someone shouldn't have left laying around. Usually you don't have to worry about stuff like that, and we have a good medical staff anyway... I'll still have to tell the headmaster when we go to get your room number, though"

He shrugged a bit and gestured forward, toward some buildings. "Pool wing is right over there." The grin slid back across his face.

Man, he is very luck-- if somebody could form a sentence in their mind without speaking it out loud, then hers just stopped in the middle as enlightenment flashed across her thoughts.
If demons miss when they attack him, and I just tripped then and saved him from nearly impaling his foot... could it...? she would have to test that theory later.
Right now, all she wanted to do was to sate her curiosity about the school's pool. She would assume that it also came in the monstrously large size, since everything seemed to be very large/absurdly large in this school. She wondered if she'll find her roommates here too.

Talon meandered down the main hall. He walked unheaded as most people still made a path for him. He'd only been here for a year but he had thought everyone would know that he wasn't dangerouse by now. He was thinking about his last year at the school and everything he had learned. When he stopped suddenly. He had almost walked head long into a Darkelf. He blinked at the impedement and tried to give a smile, though he wasn't sure it looked much like one on his face.

"Pardon me," he apologised in his unique drawl, very much like a parrots. "You three must..." He suddenly remembers Ken from a combat class he had watched. "Excuse me, Two, must be new," He rears back onto his hind legs, now Towering above the group. He extends his talon hand towards them. "I am known as Talon. I do hope you find this an enjoyable place of learning. It is ever a place of surprises."

Gabriel had noticed the large minotaur amble up to some new students, hopefully his new roommates. He had only been here for a few months, and the last roommate he was given was a water sprite, not a good mix. He slowly walked up to them, finishing off his cigarette and making a small electrical charge in his hand to disintegrate it.

"Are any of by any chance a dark elf names Samhot? I'm supposed to be living with him and this other guy."

Samoht's eyes brightened.

"You're an alchemist. Which means you can change one thing into another, right? Sweet! I can change any object into a weapon. However, I'm still working on changing them back. Hasn't worked so far. This should be fun, though."

Then, he was almost trampled on by a large minotaur, who seemed friendly enough. Samoht smiled and took the outreached talon.

"Hey, no harm, no foul. It's better than other places I've been. Dark Elves aren't normally accepted in many places, so this is a nice change of pace."

Samoht heard his name being called, and looked around.

Here for five minutes and already I'm popular. God, I love it here!

He found the source. A boy was walking towards them, asking about him.

"I'm Samoht, and this is Jerle, my roommate. Well, I guess he's OUR roommate. We're both transmutate scholars. What's yours?"

Samoht grabbed his bags and motioned for the other two to follow.

"Come on, we'll talk while we walk. Let's find our room."

Yuna waited outside the council office while Jess sat inside, waited for the big people, whoever they were, to approve her permission to leave the school for the small while. One of them, Jess did know. A girl named Jubilette Handsome. They weren't exactly the best of friends. More like close acquaintences. They often talked about the reason Jess came to this office at about this same time every year.

"It should be approved quite easily, Jessa." Jubilette was saying. "I haven't heard of us doing anything special here which would require either your voice or your talent with manipulating water. By the way, 'he' would be turning nine years old on this birthday coming up, right?"

Jess simply nodded. She was often quiet when his birthday came up. Her little brother, Maximillian, dead at birth, and every year on that day, Jess returned home to see her parents and his grave. She was gone for less than a week, and things never changed during her absense.

"How are the mutations?" Jess suddenly asked, figuring a change of subject was practical. Jubilette extended her right arm, which suddenly ripped itself apart as alien muscle and tissue grew into a gruesome cone-shaped husk. Four slits in areas along the rim opened wide and massive claws extended, each roughly two feet long, with the "thumb" claw being twice as wide as the others. Suddenly, the largest slit, centered in the palm of her now inhuman arm, was forced open as a massive sword blade erupted outward. "As you can see, it doesn't hurt to allow the sword to come out anymore." Jubilette finally explained. Jess was amazed. Jubilette had only a little more muscle mass than Jess herself, yet she hefted the bulky arm, muscle and claws and sword, like it was merely a lightweight extension of herself.

Just them, the door into the council area opened and a young man in uniform approached Jess, holding out the sheet. "Miss MacCrinshaw, your proposal for leave has been approved. We wish you the best in the outside and your safe return to our guidance." Jess stood up and accepted the sheet, noting the "APPROVED" stamp on the form. "Thank you." She said simply. The man then turned sharply on his heel and returned to the council area. Jubilette retracted her arm back into a human form. "I have to go take care of a few more items on the list, so I'll be going now. Take care, and..." Jubilette leaned in close to Jess's ear. "...don't keep Yuna waiting for you too long."

Jess grinned and waves Jubilette away, tucked the form away and joined Yuna outside. "Now I just need to contact my parents and they'll take care of the rest." Jess said with a sigh, and the two girls proceeded to Jess's room.

"I'm Gabriel," he walked alongside the other two, "I manipulate elctricity, although my control is a bit...spotty...in the rain. I'm also a medic which helps when my control goes haywire." They reached their room without trouble. As Gabriel led them in, they found all sorts of medical equipment laid out on his bed. "Ah, sorry about the mess. I was checking through my stock this morning and had to leave for class. Speaking of which, what classes are you taking?"

"I'm taking Advanced Transmutation, Sword-based Combat, Charms, and Long-Range Combat. Sticking with what I'm good at."

Samoht placed his bags on the bed, and tried to open them. They were closed with those zip-cords, and he had no scissors. He then looked over to the desk and saw a comb.

"I apologize, but I need this." Samoht picked up the comb in his gray hands, and gave it a small squeeze. In a small burst of light, the comb was no longer there, and was replaced by a shiny dagger. Using the dagger, he sliced off the zip-cord and opened his bag.

OOC: Krylo I doubt that the possesion cases are public knowledge, it could be kinda harsh on some of the students.

IC: Azarias ignored Kiros and went to the part of the dorms where his room was, he entered his room and quickly got his stuff before heading away towards Mr. Hunters class. (that was his name right?)
