I remember that show, did it not include a live action bit with two guys playing Mario and Luigi? I had fond memories of the Link cartoons however, now that I can think with a more clear head.. they were really awful, even compared to the Mario ones.

Yeah, there was live action. Mario had this long, greasy looking, curly hair, like A.C. Slater gone to seed.

My favorite episode was the one where a monster disguised itself as the princess and no one could tell them apart after they fought in a pit of mud. So Link had to tell them apart by kissing one. I also liked the one where Link got turned into a frog and wanted Zelda to save him with a kiss, but the fairy did it instead.

Captain N is one of the best shows! I didn't know there were 3 seasons of it. How does it end? Does he go back to the real world?

That's because Mario was played by Lou fricking Albano. Hulk Hogan also showed up on the show, if I remember right.

And yes, there were three seasons of Captain N. I found seasons 2 and 3 on Bittorrent, but I'm not sure about the policy here about linking to such things, so I won't. The addition of the Gameboy made me die a little inside, though.

Also, I seem to have found a website with a few streaming episodes of the Super Mario Supershow, and 11 of the 13 Zelda shows, and in much better quality than I've seen in other places. Considering it's hosted directly by Yahoo, I'm guessing it's legal.
