But how could it possibly work? The temporal stuff all makes sense, but the army? Its madness! Every BM is the same one BM, every RM is the same RM, etc. Such a battle would last for all eternity and could only possibly exist in a nothingness such as the one they are in without completely destroying everything. That, and if every BM or RM or Thief or Fighter were to attack at least once, each of the four would have to consiously attack an infinite number of times. Madness I tell you!

O.k., let me spell it out for you. While I may have my misgivings about blackbelts livingness, and my poor ability to find a smart sounding word other than "livingness", I'm a master at considering paradoxes and solving time travel mishaps.

BM or Red Mage could probably just use their strongest magic, possibly a combo of Lightning 8 and Hadoken. Now after they fire it, a time scene later they'll still be firing but they'll be next to their past selves who are also firing. So it's 2x(Rm + Bm). but then the next scene there will be a double instance of the two sets firing, past and present, so 4x(Rm + Bm) then in the next scene there'd be 8x(Rm + Bm) then 16x(Rm + Bm) so in a few scenes there could be billions of Red Mages and Black Mages using their attacks instantaneously.

The sheer combined force of the Light warriors two mage's would be enormous, and would be so large space/time wouldn't be able to hold it in, fracturing space/time. (i.e. in movies where after an explosion, a survivor finds himself in another place in time.) While time in this place for our heroes jumbles together, there still was a time before they entered which means there was a way into this place, giving it an entrance. If they can use time to get back to when there was that entrance, it becomes an exit. when they use this exit, it means that this "infinite" place has an entrance and an exit, thus making it no longer infinite, making place non-existant, and it collapses.

In short, the mages make a massive explosion, allowing them to see the instance in which they entered, hop through it, making it so they had never been there in the first place. Whether or not they remember it depends on the Author's humor. Then the one eyed plant dies. Whether or not Red Mage comes up with this perfectly logical idea is the main problem.

Brian should debut a shirt with that design on it with the caption "Me and this army!"

Also, kudos on that episode. I can't imagine the amount of time and work it took to craft that last frame. It must have been numbing.

[Edit] This is looking to be the first raid in rpg history. Just some interesting trivia.

If there are a million of them, then the world is doomed. Only an army of Cyborg robot lawninja monkey hawks can save us now.

What about Abe Lincoln? If Sosa has taught us anything, Abe Lincoln could save us.

It's scary that every one of those BMs has a hadoken of his own.

if All of them used their hadokens,,,, how much love would be left?

Also, i dont see how their gonna get out with just all attacking, cos the way i see it,,, theres nothing TO attack except themselves, and killing themselves isnt exactly gonna get them anywhere, theirs no real entrance or exit in my eyes either as they sorta faded into that place in the first place or teleported, but if their inside that things black of its eye, maybe theres eventually a wall or summin,,, its all so confusing -_-

The point isn't what they're going to attack; it's the fact that they have an army of infinite Thieves, Fighters, RMs, and BMs that could obliterate anything. It's the principle of the idea, not its practical applications. Sure, there's nothing to attack in an infinite nothingness, but it's still cool.
I was in awe at that last panel. That was incredible.
