Ok, when you first create your character, it shows a little animation and a strange voice talks to ya. thats Azura. How do i know this? At the end of Morrowind main quest, she appears and talks with EXACTlY the same voice.
Ive heard about this quest, I blew it off because it was too trivial and i wanted to get somewhere fast.

Burnt forms of the game don't have the intro, nor does the pirated versions. I ended up pirating it for PC after wasting 100 hours on the XBox, because of Tribunal. Then I found out that expansions don't work with the pirated version, wasting $30 on Morrowind for PC, and then the exact next day they announced the GOTY edition for XBox.
Azura does have a shrine, but its not exactly underground. Its just a big statue in the south-eastern part of Vvardenfell. You can see it on the map that came with the game. Other than that, I haven't seen another shrine for her.

There's supposedly a shrine under the statue. I haven't investigated it myself, but it leads to a side quest.

the fork of horripulation becomes the spear of bitter mercy if you do finish the daedric shrine quest located in the canal works of one of the vivec cantons.

Go to Vivec, and in either the St. Olms Canton or the canton right next to it (can't remember it's name, it's another St. one.).
Anyway, you go down to the canals, and you'll find a door being guarded by a soldier. Depeding on your Personality rating, they may or may not attack you. Go in the door, and you'll enter the shrine. Kill the people in there, and take their stuff. Then, talk to the statue of Sheogorath. He's one of my favorite Daedra, and you'll find out why. He'll send you to the far north to kill a Giant Bull Netch with a fork. To get the fork, he'll send you to some crazy person that has a bunch of spears in his house. He should give you directions, so I won't do it here. Too much to tell from off the top of my head. Anyway, go to the spear person's house, and take only the fork. None of the spears in his house are worth stealing anyway. Now, go find the bull netch, and you now have two choices depending on how strong you are. You could kill the netch with only the fork, but unless you have a super high strength, that will take a while. The trick is that, you don't need to only attack the netch with the fork. You can attack it with your primary weapon until it's really work, and then kill it with the fork. All that matters is that the killing blow was done by the fork. Then, go back to the shrine, and Sheogorath will turn the fork into the Spear of Bitter Mercy. If you have the expansion pack, you can sell the spear to the Mournhold Museum, but I'd go against that. The spear is one of the best weapons in the game! My guy was a sword and shield man, but when I got the spear, I focused on raising my spear skill just for that weapon! It's great! And also, Azura's shrine is pretty hard to find. I reccommend having some levitation stuff, so that you don't have to swim around.

Sheogorath, Isn't that the freaky looking one with 4 arms that resembles Goro from the MK series? If it is, I kinda annhilated everyone in the place, got attacked by the Daedra and no strange message, like the ones that happen in the other Daedra quest shrines comes up.
Oh and I already knew where the Azura's shrine was. After getting her star, does it matter if you go and kill her priest? And, why does Azura play such a big part of the game, couldn't or well shouldn't it be better if you can decide which gods or goddess's to help?

No, Sheogorath is the weird Daedra. He's the one who's statue looks like a normal guy dressed in clothes and has a cane.
He's the insanse one. And Azura is the one who's helping because, honestly, the other gods don't really give a damn.

Isn't he the patron god of Ald Dragoth? Oh... I know which one your talking about, hes the dude in the building with scamp, the orc who thinks hes a kajiit and the dunmer. The threesome are inthe same room as the freaky glove underneath the pillow.

Azura is the reason the dark elf exist. The Chimer as the dumner were once called betrayed Lord Nerevar and his cause. Amalexia, Vivec, and Sotha Sil became gods but also cursed the chimer to live as a shadow of thier old empire. Thus the Dumner were born, out of the sins of the Three False Gods. Azura made sure that one day Nerevar would be reborn and lead the dumner back to what it was and together they would drive the Imperial Empire out of Morrowind.
